hello. this is a pointless discussion with a very important topic. HARRY POTTER. and the Half Blood Prince of course. the movie that just came out (duh) this wednesday (which, i don't want to brag bout, but i went to watch at midnight hahaha).

have u watched the movie??? if u haven't go and see it now! so we can talk about it in here!! =)

u might wonder. what the heck does Harry Potter has to do with Breaking Dawn?! well, easy. Breaking Dawn is a book that i really really really like, as well as the whole Twilight series, and just as Harry Potter (yeah, i'm talkin bout all 7 books, if u haven't read them, well go do it now, they r so much betta than the movies... and that way we can talk about them too!!). see how they have somethin in common?? haha

so, in the end, this is a talk-about-Harry-Potter-and-how-awesome-it-is discussion (if u want, about the Saga too). no bad comments accepted. neither from the Harry Potter books nor the Twilight Saga.

i think it was a good movie in general but as far as adaptations from book to screen go i'm a little worried. my biggest concern is how they will incorporate all the information about the horcruxes into the next movie that dumbledore shouldve told harry in this one. other than that and the fact that the ending was veryyyyyyy anti-climatic (no big battle!? no snape yelling DONT CALL ME A COWARD!?!?) i loved it :) harry on felix felicis = funniest thing ever.

i think that the 'don't call me coward' was a really important thing to added in the movie (it really somehow told us there was more that needed to b said b2een harry and snape), and of course, the horcruxes, i think that people that haven't read the book rn't going to understand it really well (thank god we r here haha)

I'm going to see the movie on Monday (student free day!). Me and my brother have just finished our Harry Potter movie marathon :) and I've just finished reading the series for the millionth time. No really. Harry Potter, Twilight and Eragon are the only things I read. Hope the movie is great, can't wait to see Harry on Felix Felicis!!!

haha i did't read the whole series, but like two days before i watched the mocie, i read the 6th book. and, as i since i had an urge to read the 7th now, i'm readin it!! LOL

i rewatched the movie today and i liked it better now that i've come to terms with what was left out. the ending still upset me though....praying the 7th and 8th are as amazing as the books.

and no fair, i didnt get to see the new moon trailer on the big screen yet :( lol

i do think the next movies r gooing to b better, for starters, there r two movies, and only one book, which mans that more info is gonna appear

wot do u think is the point where they'll divide the two movies?????

For now, Yates thinks the “Hallows” story will be split at a forest scene, part of that aforementioned pursuit of Harry, Ron and Hermione. “Traditionally, the movies have ended with a death or a bereavement, some sort of passage or arrival,” he said. “This time we think we will end with more a cliffhanger. Again, though, that’s the thought as of this moment.”


so a forest scene....that gives us a lot to work with lol the majority of the book is in forests. i was reading somewhere, i cant remember where (so i dont remember if it was a fan or a legitimate source) but somebody said they were thinking about cutting it off after the snatchers find them and take them to malfoy's...so who knows lol. i think it will be good though.

really?? i thought they were going to do it somewhere when they destroy the locket horcrux, but the snatchers r a pretty good idea.. although it won't be that much of a cliffie for us! LOL

ha yeah. the locket scene isnt too much earlier anyway. i wonder how theyre gonna end the first part though, like is it just gonna fade to black and say to be continued...? lol

i did! when dumblydore died i was hyperventilating and crying my head off and i was the only 1 making noise, i was stared at...hahaha priceless!

i liked the part where harry took felix felissis the luck potion and was being a dip...and when he did the pinchers thing! hahaha
