I don't think that was the only thing she wanted, but it was (i think) her main priority at that time.

I think it's messed up that Bella wanted sex with Edward more than to get married to him I mean if she married him they could have sex all she wanted that much sooner!!! Plus I don't think it was just her fear of how her mother would react that stopped her from saying yes.

I think you right about what was holding her back - I think it's more her own feelings about marriage, I mean look at Charlie and Renée's marriage. Maybe she was/is afraid that getting hitched would destroy her relationship to Edward.

Yeah, i didnt really get why she had such big issues with the marriage thing- i would love to ask stephanie that- cos to be honest it doesnt make sense- like you would become a vampire to be with someone for eternity- how is getting married any different?

OMG!!! I was sooooooooooooooooo happy when Edward propsed to Bella! He's all like "Now I wanna do this right." and i loved it! Then, when Bella wanted to have sex with Edward, I was like "Wow.Sex with a vampire. Ok..." and then, Edward stopped her! And I started yelling at the book! LOL
