Ughh that line gives me the chills !! (sorry if i didnt quote it exactly right, I try to not remeber that line)
Stupid edwdard what was he thinking !!!!!?!?! well i know what he was thinking but that was stupid. But i still love him
Gesh that boys got some issues
does anyone else totally hate that line? okay so hate is the wrong word but i mean i really dont like that line but yet its still important to the book

It's the line that has Bella going insane so yes...I hated the line.
But it was one of the more loving things Edward thought he did-giving her a life that was completely her own, no vampires or mythical creatures, a human life to start over. It doesn't make sense to Bella but still...it was love that made him say it.

i totally agree... um no one forgets their first love. Even though his intentions were good, it was stupid of him to think he could end it like that.

i don't hate it, but it was a lie even before he said it. After all the time they'd spent together he couldn't honestly believe that Bella would just forget about him. you would think with him being able to read human's minds he would grasp how much humans are capable to love. Especially bella hia 'supposed' soul mate. i dunno he upset me when he said that. i cried when he let, and i still cry everytime i read it.
