Casting Round-Up For “The Host’s”

Variety reports that casting is in progress to fill the leading male roles of “The Host.”

From Variety: Liam Hemsworth (“The Hunger Games”), Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”), Jai Courtney (“One Shot”) and Max Irons (“Red Riding Hood”) will test for the role of Jared, Melanie’s boyfriend. Dane DeHaan (“In Treatment”), Thomas McDonnell (“Prom”), Augustus Prew (“The Borgias”) and Ronan’s “Lovely Bones” co-star Jake Abel will test for the role of Ian, a menacing young man who brutalizes Wanderer before falling in love with her.

I think Max Irons is a good Jared :D he seems to fit the description!
And Jake Abel. The others dont fit his character at all! lol
Although I kind of had some guys in mind for Jared and Ian haha I was thinking:

No. This is the Official Choices I found on The Host Website Page.

Josh Duhamel would be good as Jared but I dont know about Matt Dallas as Ian though.

Oh wow! I cant wait till the actually start filming! I really hope they pick the right actors for them :)
As for Melanie dont you think Sophia Bush wouldve been better.. I dont know I mean Saoirse is good but Sophia mightve been a better choice wouldnt you think so

Never seen Sophia in any movie but by looking at her - Saoirse is more natural looking. I don't know if you get what I mean.

Bc Sophia is v. pretty but it's Saoirse who looks delicate and at the same time - v. strong. She'll be perfect Wanda/Mel. :)
