IAN O'SHEA
What does your ian look like? i am really curious on what the person inside ya'lls head looks like. and it doesnt need to be an actor....
Update: A lot of yall have been describing in words what ian looks like to you. I know how SM describes him, but what I meant to say was to show me a picture of what he looks like. dont worry about wether or not the person can act the part, just post your perfect Ian :)

Obviously what Stephenie wrote - dark (black?) hair, blue eyes... My "addings": tall, slim, hands with long fingers. Tanned as he lives in the desert. In my head he's not so pretty. I mean he doesn't look like a boy from the cover of some magazine. He's like... he's handsome but in a friendly way, I don't know if you get what I mean. Nice to look at him but you won't crash on the nearest streetlamp because you were looking at him and didn't watch where you're going. ;-) He looks... normal, like your best pal. Attractive but not like greek god or anything like that (not to mention that not all greek gods where handsome lol).

Hahaha you are so right. Everybody thinks that ALL greek gods were so goodlooking... But wow your description of Ian comes very close to my own..

It's because authores of romances ALWAYS write stuff like "he looks like greek god" without thinking. I know that some greek gods were suppose to look perfect but I can't stop thinking about i.e. Hephaestus or even Zeus (that beard...) and... well... whenever I see comparison to a greek god I burst in laugh. XDDD
I'm glad you like my description of Ian. I mean that you imagine him in similar way. There's something friendly about him that makes me think he'd look in a friendly way too. -

SM did not mean for Ian to be gorgeous, and so hynotizing, like a greek god, you're right about that stuff)

I would have to draw him 'cause I don't know who would look like my imaginary Ian. He def. doesn't look like Ian Sommerhalder, that's all I can tell.

Everyone's got a right to their opinion, but Ian is pretty mean at the beginning of the book. I'm re-reading and I'm shocked how cruel his is to Wanda. He got the closest to actually killing her! Plus, he's always spitting out mean comments in her presence.
I get what you mean, because he does become such a sweetie later that it's hard to picture him as mean - I just wanted to make that point. The actor for Ian needs to be able to play both sides of the character in the end. :) -

Of course he's mean at the beggining but isn't it why we love this character so much? That he changed his mind? After all that change shows his character. He's going long way (if I can say that) from the enemy, through friend, to a lover. And that's great. Of course we need an actor who can play all Ian's way but I think we're discussing Ian's looks more than character. A person with a friendly face can be naughty, really. :)
