While I loved the Twilight Saga, I was putting off reading The Host. The whole alien thing was seemed strange. Then I started reading it, and WOW! I couldn't put it down! Stephenie Meyer is amazing! I finished today and am still thinking about it. What a book!!

Idk, I mean if the planet has been taken over my aliens. Would it matter how old she is? lol 17 or 18 I wouldn't wait til I was 18 to be with him....I mean human kind is hiding to not be kill! I don't think anyone cares about age at this point lol.

Wanda lies about her (body's) age after she is inserted into Pet's body. She (the body) is actually turning 17, but she remembers what Mel went through with Jared- waiting until she was 18- so she says she's turning 18 so she can be with Ian sooner. Wanda, herself, is younger them all only because she hasn't been on earth that long.

Aah*.. nah Jamie says that's she's smaller than him now that Wanderer's got Pet's body. But Wanderer corrects him, i forget if she says it out loud or in her head, that she might be smaller but she's still older.. just by a couple years though.

lol Courtney, actually, i thought Ian was meant to be in his mid 20's ? Wanda has Pets 17yr/o body in the end, it is still kind of weird though if you only look at it age wise.
