Thanks Julie and Xyra. I think I will borrow them first. They are kinda pricey.

Hello...

Trisha - I'm watching the series.  I am the one who wanted to watch it, but hubby ended up liking it more than me. I know nothing about the books, but the series can get a little too violent at times for me, but the overall plot is good.

I usually don't buy books b/c I usually don't read them more then once, so the library is a good place to start.  The exception being Twilight which I've read over and over;)

I haven't read them, but several members of my family have and love them. Perhaps start at the library and if you like the first enough go and buy them. If you have a nook, there is a bundle deal going on for them at Barnes & Noble.

I'm thinking about reading the Game of Thrones books. Has anyone on here read them? Do you think I should buy them?

The Host was always to be a trilogy, but the writing got sidetracked while Twilight movies were made. She is supposed to be back on track writing those two more books.

I agree...Midnight Sun would make loads more money for the publisher and everyone involved.

Your right, why clutter up the brain with non Twilight things:)
As for Midnight Sun... I hoped that the publisher would want it completed, if for no other reason that to make money and that really was fine with me.
I didn't know there was to be a sequel to The Host. A book sequel or just a movie?
Thanks for all the info, I've been out of the loop for way too long. It's a rainy day, which means a good day for reading.

I believe SM is working on the sequels to The Host and the Austenland movie with Sharon Hale.

Don't hold your breath for Midnight Sun...I'm thinking that's over and done.

For my own sanity I have forgotten that silly author's name. Not worth the memory space that can be used remembering my favorite mental Twilight pictures. ;-)

Haven't been here for ages. I've read the books 5 times each and was thinking of starting reading them again. Loved the books and loved the movies, but the books are better or maybe I should say that what you can imagine in your own mind is better.
Would love to know which author is putting down Twilightm. Hmmm.....
Any news on what SM is doing now? Any news on Midnight Sun? Or is that over and done? Just thinking outloud.
