Dakota as Jane, and Vanessa as Leah??

So it's a definite that Dakota is playing Jane; comments?? And Vanessa as Leah? Yeah, uhhh, nooooooooooooo. She just can't do something like High School Musical and then transition into Twilight; the movies contrast WAY too sharply. Quite frankly, I would be half expecting her to break into song and dance throughout the movie. =/

I cant see Vanessa as Leah. Leah is so emotionally unbalanced with a bit of angry/sad. Vanessa's darkest role was a bit part in thirteen. Plus Vanessa as a werewolf, cant see it. And Dakota as Jane? I thought Jane was older than that. Not a good fit for her either. Id rather put Duff in either of those roles.

I dont dislike either of them, neither of them belong in those roles though. Its not them.

I totally agree!
I really, really, really don't want the smiley innocent looking Vannesa to be Leah!

Why don't they actually try and get some real native american's?

I would love to see Dakota as Jane but Vanessa is way too fluffy to be Leah. She has the annoying thing down but I doubt she can be angry all the time. It would be funny to see her try but I don't want her or Hilary Duff touching the movies.

I agree, I think Dakota would be great as Jane. But NOT Vanessa. It wouldn't be the same.

VANESSA? GABRIELLA? AS LEAH?No way. And also, I don't think she's that good an actress, seriously. I mean, in disney itself you can find better actresses. I think even Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are better actresses(but I am really not sure if either can pull off Leah's role!) Dakota is fine by me....

Dakota would be an amazing Jane! She sooo suits the part! becase she has been in horror movies, she has this kind of sinister air about her, which would be perfect for portraying Jane...
Vanessa as Leah? I think not! Leah is supposed to be quite harsh and emotonal etc, I think it would ruin the whole film is she was Leah. She doesn't have the right character. Probably because she was all so happy chappy in HSM and I just can't see her playing a warewolf, especialy not a bitter one.

Dakota is great as Jane.. But Vanessa as Leah?!? NO WAY!! When I read the books I always thought of Leah as a tough girl!
