I've red the draft write of Stephenie Mayer, the Midnight Sun. Now, I truely understand what Edwards felt at the very firrst part of the story. It was so awesome!

The only ring Bella ever recieved was her engagement ring. Other jewels would be the bracelet Jacob gave her with the wolf charm. Edward gave her a heart shaped "crystal" to add to it as well. And there was the gaudy necklace that Aro gave as a wedding gift. Bella never had a crest ring.

What I don't understand is they are already selling a Bella's Cullen Crest Ring but it says that it's from New Moon.  Nowhere in the book or in the movie of New Moon did Bella get a Cullen Crest ring.  It wouldn't make any sense for her to get it then anyway.  The Cullen Family Crest is strictly a movie thing, thought up totally by the first director, Catherine Hardwicke, as a way to further identify the clan from the humans of Forks. 

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if they remembered to include Bella in this "family tradition" or not. I'm still hoping that if they did, they chose a charm for her bracelet.  It would be unique and totally Bella.

Lauralynn, I haven't been able to find any mention of a ring given to Bella in the book.  I think you are right, that it's a movie thing and not a book thing, so I will be interested to see if they include her receiving the ring in a scene in the movie.  (My guess is yes, those movie marketing people would be too smart to pass up an opportunity).

I am a huge harry potter and twilight fan but twilight does have that special something that's you all excited I have reread the books over and over. Countlessly same with watching the films totally loving it x

Did Bella get her Cullen Family Crest ring in New Moon?  I don't remember reading about that, yet I see they are selling Bella's Cullen Crest ring from New Moon.  I would think If she got one, she would be given it on her wedding day or after.  Since the Crests are specific to the movies, and I don't remember any scene in New Moon w/ Bella receiving a ring, then I was expecting her to get it from the Cullen women while they were dressing her for the wedding.  I also thought instead of a ring, they would make it a charm for her bracelet to further tie it into the story and the other films together. 

Anyone else out there here anything regarding Bella's Cullen Crest Ring?

I empathize with you too, Candace.  I love both series and I would have laughed not booed.

This comparing of Harry Potter and Twilight is absolutely asinine and totally junvenile in my opinion.  They aren't even anything remotely like each other. How can they truely be compared to one another when they are so totally different, I ask you? I agree with you 100% Candace, the people who booed where just showing how childish they were.  I think people are capable of loving both the Harry Potter and Twilight franchises at the same time.  I for one do.  I have very much loved reading and seeing the Harry Potter books and movies for the past 9 years and then when Twilight came along, I fell in love with Twilight and all it had to offer.  There's nothing wrong with that.  I sick and tired of people acting like you're a traitor if you like one or the other or both.  It's ridiculous!  Yes, they are wonderful and they bring alot to enrich our lives, but they are just books.  They are fiction! and people are taking it WAY TOO SERIOUSLY.
