Simplifying GIMP

Well, this is on the thin line of a discussion and sub group. Anyone can join, just fill out the form below.

So, this is more of a whole group thing, if you would rather be in smaller groups or 1 to 1, GMPG might be better for you. I just thought a big group would be fun because we'll have oodles of tutorials from all different artists on the site.

There will be more details soon, but I wanted to get to the point.

This is a place where you can post tutorials to help other members become more familiar with GIMP. Also so people can learn some things they've never learned before.

(NO ONE is an expert, so just know, you shouldn't underestimate yourself, ever!)

Would you like to learn, or teach others?: Both; I've worked with GIMP long enough to teach people, but I would also love to learn some new things too!

How long have you worked with GIMP/ Or for newcomers, what would you like to learn?: i have worked with gimp about 1 and a half years/ i tried putting text on a gif with the other tut but i can get it on all of my layers and at some point would love a lil help :D

How long have you worked with GIMP/ Or for newcomers, what would you like to learn?: I just got it to download onto my computer and I can't really figure it out on my own. Well, I'd like to learn...well everything you can teach me lol.

How long have you worked with GIMP/ Or for newcomers, what would you like to learn?: I've worked with GIMP for three weeks, though I prefer photoshop, I really do like GIMP as well. I'm pretty good with it already though If i do say so myself, but I would also LOVE to learn a few more tricks ^^

I used to be Nessie but now im aria black. I have learned a bunch more about gimp but now id like to teach if thats ok?
