Birdy held onto his arm and slowly began to walk. "I live on the corner of the next street." She said softly and looked over at him, holding onto him somewhat tightly, being careful with every step she took. One thing she loved was to just have fun and be free to be herself. Just when she got around other people she felt the need to grow up and she grew shy but with him she felt somewhat comfortable which was odd because she wasn't comfortable around anyone not even her family. She let out a soft giggle. "No, they aren't." She smiled and laughed softly.

His smile was perfect and it made her smile. She nodded as he acknowledged her accent. "Yes, I am French." She said softly, her voice was always quiet, she wasn't used to talking so much but she liked it. "Maybe I could teach you how to speak it sometime." She looked at him and her pale pink lips turned up into another smile. She looked down at her shoes. "Yes, that would be lovely." She let out a small laugh, she felt ridiculous for wearing the shoes. She just hoped she wouldn't fall again and make herself look like a fool in front of him. She noticed he was a little shorter than she was but it was only because of her shoes,

A shot of pain went up her arm as she looked down at her bleeding hand, it had stained her white jacket and her jeans. She tried standing up on her own and couldn't because of the ice below her, she just sat for awhile until she felt arms help her up. She was relieved. "I think so." She said softly, her accent thick and foreign as a voice asked her if she was okay. Her hand hurt like hell but other than that she was fine. She wasn't a very social person, she kept to herself so she was shy, a little more shy than most people but what people didn't know was that she wanted friends and she wanted to be liked. She looked up, her blue eyes looking at the boys face. He caught her by surprise, he was more than different, his skin was the prettiest color of green. An emerald green, a color she had always favored in a way and his eyes and hair were a darker, almost mysterious green. She didn't jump back or run or back away, she just stood there and she watched as he wrapped her hand in the cloth he pulled from his jacket. She hadn't noticed her body shaking from the cold, all she could do was stare at him and she knew that was rude. "Thank you..." She whispered softly, looking down. "Its okay, you are helping now..." She looked at her hand and noticed the bleeding starting to stop slightly. "Im Birdy, its nice to meet you, Garfield." She looked back up at him, a soft smile on her face.

School was like hell, being the new girl at a new school in a new country just made her feel uncomfortable. Her English wasn't all that well and her French accent made her stick out in the crowd. And to top it all off it was snowing rather heavily outside. She let out a soft sigh and pulled her thin jacket around herself, if she would have known it was going to be this cold she would have worn more clothes. She looked around at all the other people filing out of the school, like bugs trying to run from a shoe. She started on her walk home, it had been a horrible day and all she wanted to do was go home, she was cold, tired and unbelievably hungry. She hadn't ate lunch instead stood in the library afraid of what other people might think of her. Her long blonde hair was tied back in a white bow and she wore a thin white jacket over her pink floral shirt and jeans. She wore high heeled boots which wasn't exactly the best thing to wear on a snowy day. Her foot caught a patch of ice and she went down, her books and all. She fell but tried to catch herself, scraping her hand and her knee, her jeans tearing.
