Madeline is a woman Claudia met and chose to be her mother when Lois left her to live on his own. Lois changed her instead of Claudia. But she, Claudia, and Lois are captured by the Paris vampires and was put in a pit with no roof so when morning Madeline and Claudia would burn in the sun.
