- I read the first book before the movie came out then read all four books within a month. I NEVERRR put them down. I would not do my homework all the time so i could read and my teachers would always yell at me because I never payed attention in class. - EDWARDDDDDD!!!!!! Because he loves her wayyyyy more than jacob. Edward only left Bella in New Moon to protect her. Jacob wouldnt even been a consideration unless she didnt get those stupid bikes. Also Bella even says that Jacob should be family, not her husband. Edward is sooo gorgeous and is unselfish. Jacob is an arrogant hot head who pushes himself on Bellas.
