- Five Things Everyone Should Know About You?
- 1. I was born on June 22, 1986. I feel that if you know someone’s age, you can tell more about them.
2. I’m kind of a geek. I’m into Star Trek and comics and pursuits that are at least semi-intellectual.
3. I like to absorb culture. I’ve been to London, Paris, Berlin, and Rome, among other places, and taken part in numerous conventions, a few concerts, and other events.
4. I’m gay. I am a guy with a serious crush on Edward Cullen.
5. I like to think that I’m tolerant. I don’t care what race, ethnicity, religion, creed, gender, sexual preference, or other orientation someone belongs to, as long as they treat others with respect.
- When Did You First Read Twilight (year) and how many times have you read a Twilight Book (total)?
- I saw the Twilght film twice and thought to myself, “If the film is this good, then the books must be spectacular!” So with my Christmas money I bought all four books in the slipcased collector's edition, sight unseen. I am currently three-quarters of the way done with the first book. The reason why it is taking so long is because I have a busy schedule and want to devote time and effort to the books, so I make sure I have that whenever I start reading.
- Team Edward or Team Jacob? Why?
- Team Edward, of course! The advantages of being a vampire by far outweigh those of being a werewolf. Plus, vampires sparkle. And I like my men COLD, DEAD, and SPARKLY!
- Which Character Are You Most Like?
- I did a survey once which said that I was most like Edward Cullen. A mix of emotions came to me. In an ideal world, yes, I would be Edward Cullen. He's hot, smart, mature, and always makes the right decisions. He shows great control under pressure, and can be patient when he needs to be. Alas, that is not me, but rather what I yearn to be. Or what I yearn for in a lover, but only in a perfect world.
- Favorite Books
- I pride myself on my library. I prefer mostly non-fiction, including historical atlases and biographies of world rulers. I have an extensive collection of official guidebooks to famous buildings and museums, and assorted books on everything from heraldry to architecture. I am, however, an avid reader of the Twilight Saga. That said, the first things I buy with my income are always comics. Titles I'm currently collecting include Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, Daredevil, Young Avengers, Captain America, Green Lantern, The Flash, Justice League of America, Ex Machina, The Authority, and Midnighter.
- What is Your Favorite Music
- Although I'm not usually one for tunes, the Beatles, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, and R.E.M. tend to hit the spot for me.
- Favorite Movies, TV Shows, Games:
- I love most of the films based on comics put out by Marvel, including every Spider-Man movie, both Fantastic Four films, all three X-Men movies and Wolverine, and Iron Man. I also like every James Bond movie. I’m a big fan of the Star Trek movies as well, although for the most part I like the even numbered ones better than the odd numbered ones. I have found myself enamored with Twilight, initially because of the hunk that is Edward Cullen as portrayed by Rob Pattinson, although it is an excellent movie in its own right.
As for TV, I live and breathe by the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report; they are my lifeblood and sustenance. South Park will never stop being funny, and CSI (all three) will never stop being interesting. The Sopranos is rivetingly entertaining, and Six Feet Under is great too. All six Star Trek series will always have a special place in my heart and soul. Ever the gay guy, I love Queer as Folk (QaF) with a passion.
