Agreed, I've (at first, reluctantly) accepted that not every person who reads the series will become obsessive about it, and I realize that not every reader will love it for the same reasons as me, or love the same characters as I do. Couldn't have said it any better than you have I feel the same way and posted a couple times with this perspective. It's great to get feedback on those posts too because then you know someone actually listened to your point of view and hopefully they've come to realize what you have.

- Favorite Books
- Well, the Earthsea series by Ursula LeGuin, The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, The Dark Tower series by Stephen King -- also Eyes of the Dragon by King -- The Odd books by Dean Koontz, and of course the Twilight Saga.
- What is Your Favorite Music
- Ah, I like lots of music, from the Goo Goo Dolls to My Chemical Romance. My current fascination is with the band Lovers and Liars who found me on Myspace. Wonderful songs! I like rock, hard and soft, old country ie Johnny Cash, etc.
- Favorite Movies, TV Shows, Games:
- Movies... well hmm... Labyrinth, Legend, Vampire Hunter D, Underworld, Edward Scissorhands (I'm not ashamed!)
TV... Dexter!, animes like Trinity Blood and Bleach... okay most anything with Johnny Yong Bosch or Crispin Freeman...or Steven Blum as voice actors. And Moonlight, even though CBS was horrible and cancelled it before it got much off the ground.
Games ... the Final Fantasy series, particularly 7. Most Squaresoft/Square-Enix games...there's not enough space for the list!

- Games, writing (I love fantasy), camping when I have time to go, and listening to music. I'm not skilled enough with my bow for archery to be a favorite activity yet :P.
