- I was born on April 26, 1980, in a small town called Cullman, outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Growing up, I was full of energy and somewhat troublesome, so my parents decided to enroll me in different sports such as track and field, baseball, soccer, and football to keep me out of trouble. In the ninth grade I was sent to military school. It was there that I discovered my passion for football and my hopes became centered on earning an athletic college scholarship. My goal was finally met, and in my senior year in high school, I was recruited and earned a full athletic college scholarship to a school in West Virginia.
