Five Things Everyone Should Know About You?: I am Chief of the Police Department in Forks, Washington and father of Bella Marie Swan - my child with Renée Dwyer, my high-school sweetheart, and at-the-time wife. We married pretty much while we were both "fresh out of high school", which is also about the time that I filled a position in the Forks Police Department. Our marriage, however, lasted only a few years. Sweethearts though we might have been -- and they do say that opposites attract -- while Renée was always the type to want to do things, go places, and see people -- lots of them -- My main goals in life are to be there for people (hence the occupation), including my daughter, AND my ex-wife. my biggest hobbies are fishing and watching televised sports, and i harbors no small disdain for big cities, even smaller big cities like nearby Seattle.
