The light shining on the angel's face,
The near silence, the memory's sweet taste,
Aware of you, echos scream inside me,
Even away, feeling you too close to me.
Thoughts pushing everything holy and good,
Vanishing love and lust almost to the moon,
Seeing myself in the eyes of a stranger,
Not drifting in the bitterness danger.
Stepping without fear in thousand thoughts,
Waiting to become what was lost,
Flying without wings when I fall
Crushing, not hearing your call.
The light now shifting in perfect twilight
With only my inner light to see,
I hope I'll bring myself to be
In breaking down, your soul mate for eternity to be.
...I wrote this poem after I first read New Moon, being inspired by the moment when Edward leaves Bella alone in Forks, thinking that is the best for her...P.S. I hope my grammar is good.
