That's exactly right and then he kind of scolded himself for being so blind to what was obvious to everyone else and thinking that way after seeing her sleeping that first night. :)

Yeah, when I first read the books, I saw a similarity between Edward/Bella's relationship and Clark/Lana's relationship and since I have always been a huge fan of Kristin Kreuk, I sort of pictured her as Bella because I felt she was perfect to play her. I think she is an incredibly talented and beautiful actress. Some people I have talked to think she is TOO pretty to play Bella, but when I read the books, I always felt that Bella WAS beautiful, but SHE was the one who saw herself as ordinary (that was just the way I read it though). And I completely agree with you about the showing emotions thing. I have seen Kristen Stewart in other things like "Speak" and thought she did a great job in that (hopefully that is how she will act in "New Moon"), so I didn't really understand why she didn't really show any emotion in "Twilight".
