"Mackay QLD was great. Six Cinema's going and fully booked. The movies all started on time. Went and rewatched Twilight at 9.30 so that I would not be nodding off at 12 and went straight through to another theater for New moon and it started on…"
"Yep, I agree. I did not like the change in look of characters. One of my biggest hates was the contact lenses - makes them look fake. They are supposed to look beautiful, but human, and those contacts make them look inhuman. Jacob looked hot and…"
"Don't get me wrong, I did like the movie a lot. I felt they squeezed as much in in the time frame they had. I liked how they portrayed the whole relationship building with Bella and Jacob. I felt like the end where she reunites with Edward was…"
"I like it when Jacob jumps easily through her window (effortless) and I like the scene where she tells him he is beautiful and he comments that she must have bumped her head. I like him calling Mike a marshmellow (funny). His acting seems so…"

When Did You First Read Twilight (year) and how many times have you read a Twilight Book (total)?
2008 I read Twilight. I actually saw the movie first believe it or not. Then I went directly to the bookstore the next day and bought all of the books. I started reading New Moon then read Eclipse and then Breaking Dawn. Once I had done that, then I read Twilight. I did it this way cause I had seen the movie and could not wait to move on and see what was going to happen next. I read all of the books on a long weekend and did not surface till finished. Since then I have read all of the books about 4/5 times each - I just love the books. I bought the video "Twilight" and have watched it several times too - like everyone, I just can't get enough and lots of my friends/family are the same. I am going to the midnight premiere of "New Moon" with my son's girlfriend and we can't wait.
Team Edward or Team Jacob? Why?
Look - Truly there is just no competition. It is like having friends and trying to pick who you like best. They both have different qualities and are both endearing in their own way. Obviously we all want her to end up with Edward no matter what, but are happy that Jacob finds a place to fit in, in the end, making everything work out perfectly. Personally, I think Jacob is a little hottie and in real life is better looking than Edward (check out those abs). But in the books, it is all about Edward. Lets face it, when I first read New Moon, I was disappointed that Edward was hardly in it, but the more I read it, the more Jacob grows on you. What other friend is so dedicated.
Which Character Are You Most Like?
I am a bit of an several charactors and at times it all comes down to how I was at what age. When I was 17 I was probably a mixture of Alice (like to have fun, fashion, party) and Emmett (sense of humour - joke and tease) and Edward (always aware of my responsibilities, which kept me out of a lot of trouble). Now that I am older, I can relate to Carlisle (fiercely protective of family and compassionate), Esme (motherly and protective) and Jacob (true friend, no matter what). I find it hard to relate to Bella as even though she has a temper and is stubborn, I do not remember every being that unco (except maybe if I was on the grog LOL!! and I would never have let any guy, even my husband, make me feel like I had nothing left to live for and be so depressed as she was in New Moon. I think it is a truely scarey think to ever let anyone have that much power or influence over our self esteem/happiness - it is like giving them your all/total power and I think that is just unhealthy. I would be truely worried if one of my girls (one is 19 and the other 15) was so wrapped in one person and started excluding other friends. I know it is all fiction - and the exclusion is because he is a vamp, but she truely is a lonely/unsociable/quite withdrawn person in the book and everyone needs balance.
"Twilight Series" of course
Harry Potter series (love the last book "Deadly Hallows" the best)
Mortal Instruments Series (City of Glass etc) - not a bad read for anyone who likes Twilight)
Lord of the Rings (but thank god they made them into movies - a lot easier to get your head around - the book is really deep)
What is Your Favorite Music
I actually love a bit of everything - old and new.
"Loved the mix of artists who did the Twilight soundtrack" the whole soundtrack was great so I actually bought "Muse and Paramour's latest CD's
Love "Bittersweet Symphony" - The Verve (from Cruel Intentions)
"If I was a Boy" - Beyonce
and the list goes on and on - I really like a mix
Favorite Movies, TV Shows, Games:
Movies: All the Harry Potter movies, No doubt will continue to love all Twilight movies. Bourne Identity/Ultimatim etc
Lord of the Rings movies. Meet Joe Black etc
TV Shows: Have watched both season 1 and 2 of Trueblood - a bit trailer trashy but my husband and I can't seem to stop watching it (Eric is starting to grow on me)
Have just finished S1 E8 of Vampire Diaries - not bad (husband and I getting into that series- seems we like anything vampy). Like Aussie Masterchef, Like CSI type shows - probably my favourite at moment is Criminal Minds. Liked Aussie "So you think you can dance" and have watched a few episodes of the American version of this too.
Games: Card games, suduku, scrabble (have not played that for a while), marjong etc.
"Back in the day when men were men and sharks were nervous" - my husband and I use that a lot. I think it is some local yokel saying that someone made up!!
I read nearly everyday - and get withdrawal when there is nothing to read - on those days I head into the closet and get one of my favourites (so have read Twilight series and Harry Potter series a lot). Used to play a lot of Touch Football, but that has taken a bit of a backseat lately. I write some quirky poetry and actually got one published one time unexpectedly. I actually want to try my hand at writing - it has been a bit of a dream for a while and have been doing some research, have downloaded a program for authors as a writing tool and when I can spare a moment will try my hand as the urge is getting greater and greater. Hopefully, one day some of you guys will read and love something I have written - LOL
