We chose to name our group "The White Rose" to honor the free speech, pro-democratic group named "The White Rose" founded in Munich Germany in 1938. Adolf Hitler despised their ideals and ordered that they be arrested. Because of the Rose members loyalty to one another, it was one of the hardest cases the Gestapo ever had to break. They finally identified a Rose member, and tortured him until he gave up the names of the other Roses. To make an example of how despicable their ideals were to Hitler, he had them beheaded. Today they are considers martyrs of free speech, and Phila: the type of love and loyalty that develops between friends. PS. Once the defeat of Hitler was insured, the Americans dropped Hitler a little gift. ROSE MEMBERS: Like the rose flower, come in all different sizes shapes and colors. They represent every different ideology and religious belief. Every age and every level of education, and they were born with a dozen different native tongues. We Roses, admit that each person is different, but we have decided not to see our differences, but to focus on what have in common. As "The Twilight Saga" teaches, we believe that love is universal. And so our motto is: "We Respect, and Support one another"

Dear Doc, WHY SO MANY PICTURES ? ? ?
There was one member who's responses were almost imposable for me to read. I finally gave up and quit answering her responses. I got a personal note from her about 2 months later.
(Paraphrased ) It said:
A friend is writing this for me. Thank you so much for all of your discussions. I understand why you quit sharing with me. I'm sorry that my English isn't any better. The happiest hour for me, was when I got home from school. That's when my mom would read the "Twilight" thoughts of all your friends. She died. And since no one else in my family can read English, I won't be able to be know what you are saying to each other, but I still enjoy looking at your pictures.

I never gave up on a responder again. And that was the day that I started putting more pictures in my discussions. I do it for her and for all of our other non English Speaking "Rose Members." ....Love, Doc.
