"Yes, I do believe there is someone out there for each of us like Bella and Edward. I have found my Edward but only his name if Jeff. I was instant love at first site with us. I only knew him 3 weeks and we were married and have been happily married…"
I love the Nationwide as well, I think it feels more like it's about the driving and less like it's about the cars. The sport has changed quite a bit from when I used to watch, it's like they've diluted the personality right out of these boys. Did they put restrictor plates on the drivers as well as the cars?!! It all feels a bit too polite on the track now, in my opinion. Sometimes Nationwide gets a little more heated, I think that's why I like it. I don't watch the truck races at all, I just don't have time.
About your question, I live in Missouri, right smack in the middle of cowandcornville, usa! My nearest neighbors walk on four legs and moo at me in the morning, lol! I like that though, I'm a country girl at heart I guess.
My sweetie loves vampire movies too. He's currently loving the Underworld movies, we've watched them several times. Have you seen them? They're good, and it's interesting to see Michael Sheen as a werewolf instead of as Aro in New Moon. His Underworld role of Lucien is so good. Hubby likes the Twilight movies too--he grumbles about my Twi addiction, but it's usually his suggestion to pop one of the movies in and watch again.
That's cool that Eclipse comes out on your anniversary! It's a week before my birthday so he's agreed to see this one in IMAX with me because of that. He'd see it anyway, that just gives him a "manly" excuse, lol!
I first got into Twilight last summer. My mother-in-law, who is 80 years old, had sent the first book home to me and said I just had to read it, she knew I'd love it. I was resisting because I didn't want to get caught up in the hype. One of my bosses was raving about it, and several people had tried to get me to read it prior to my sweetie's mom, and I'd refused.
If it had been anyone but her, I probably still wouldn't have read the books. But I guess I just can't say no to her, so I finally had a weeks vacation that I stayed home and read them. I started Twilight that Monday and by Thursday night I'd read all the books. I literally didn't sleep more than two or three hours a night, I just couldn't stop reading! I had to know what happened next!
I'm completely sucked in now. My sweetie thinks I'm crazy, but doesn't give me too much grief. He's watched the movies with me too many times to count. He buys me magazines with Twilight actors on the covers and he's the one who got me my Edward posters. But he always tells his mom that this is all her fault, that she doesn't realize what she started, lol!
What about you, when did you get into Twilight? Does your hubby think you've come unhinged like mine thinks I have? Or do he and the kids think it's funny?
That's cool about having gone to the Nascar races. I've never gone but always wanted to.
Hi Emily, thanks for adding me!
Love your pics, that must be your Jeff and your gorgeous kiddos!
You like racing? I'm just getting back into NASCAR. I was a fan years ago but then stopped watching because I had no time. Now I always know that I'm gonna be doing on most Sunday afternoons, lol!
