CHAPTER 1- Bella's Trouble.
Isabella Swan was in trouble. Again. This time, though, she wasn't in any immediate danger. The only danger she was in was with Edward. He was going to be pissed.
You see, Bella had just met another vampire by the name of Adalia Marie. She had long, black hair, and blue, clear eyes. Something Bella had never seen on a vampire. Her pale skin nearly made her eyes seem translucent, but that wasn't what drew Bella in. This vampire, Bella noticed, had wings.
Adalia had long, black wings, stained blue in splotches. Her piercing eyes only made you want to get to know more about her.
Along with the tattered clothes she wore, she gave off the look of a dark angel. Her devious smirk seemed irrelevant to Bella as she weaved her way through the underbrush.
"Bella, I presume?" Her lush voice seemed to drift towards Bella lazily, hitting every plant delicately, every leave swaying with her movement. Before even Bella's eyes could detect movement, the girl had taken to the air with Bella in her arms. Bella's beautiful cabin seemed to get increasingly smaller as the clouds above then stirred ominously.
"You're coming with me. To my house." Bella nodded, not caring either way. If she was correct, this vampire wasn't any normal vampire. She was special. With special abilties. Like Bella herself, for example. Except, her abilities were physical. And they weren't falling, so her powers must have not been effected by Bella's presence. Bella decide that she should do an experiment, of sorts.
Forcing her inner self to stretch, she pushed her power out around the girl. Suddenly, the girl looked uneasy, and dropped four feet per second. Bella realized, the moment the girl gained speed unintentionally, and tried to pull back her shield.
It was unsuccessful. Her speed kept increasing, and just as the ground was getting too close for Bella's comfort, Adalia pulled in her wings, and they barely felt it as they hit the ground unceremoniously. Bella couldn't see a single thing as she heard and felt Adalia screaming, her chest heaving repeatedly. Bella tried to comfort her, but it was no use. Pulling in her shield, and finding it harder than anything else she had ever had to do before, Bella noticed that as she pulled in her shield, Adalia let her wings unfurl. Her shield nearly pulled in fully, Adalia shoved Bella out of her cocoon and stumbled a few moments, before dropping back to her knees and emptying the small amount of crimson her stomach hadn't let her system use yet. It spilled violently onto the ground, splattering everything in sight. Recoiling, the girl pulled herself tightly into a ball of feathers.
Moments passed before Bella noticed that Adalia wasn't going to emerge anytime soon. Standing and dusting herself off, Bella gripped tightly to her stomach because of the pain of want. Of need. Of anger. Where was she? Who was the mysterious girl who has nearly killed her? Why did she have wings? Stretching her finger tips, Bella grazed over to the smaller girl lying in the grass, writhing. She seemed to be in so much pain...
