- I didn't exactly begin from book one. I was in sixth grade when I read a Twilight book, which was in 2009. I read Eclipse first - friend let me borrow it- then Twilight and New Moon. Just recently I read Breaking Dawn, but all in all, I think I've read the series more than six times...
