- It's ok Krissa, that is what we are all here for really. Please forgive me little tantrum. It's just that since I posted that info back in Jan. I've had to repost it at least 32 times (and I'm not exaggerating) since plus now I have people on the site that are saying that I'm lying about the whole thing. Why they would think that I would want to do something like that, something that would be so easy to be caught if you were lying is beyond me. I have another friend who says they are jealous because I found out before they did. How ridiculous can you get! It doesn't matter who found out first or when, we all benefit from it and that's the most important thing I think. People can be so petty, but then I am dealing with very young people here and they are not mature enough yet to think in terms of the whole instead of the one.
- I see you've read all of the Twilight books, but have you read The Host yet? If not, you've got to get a copy!!!! It's so good = ) I love it, maybe even more than Twilight. I know that sounds sacrilegious to some, but once you read it you'll understand what I'm talking about. Oh, if you need a copy make sure you get a newer one that has the extra chapter in the back. You'll definitely want that one to understand more of the story. I here that it's hard to find in the Philippines so you might have to order it online and have it shipped. Believe me, it's worth the money.

OK, OK... I get that you want to be friends already. Gee, I've never had such an enthusiastic response to my profile before.
Well, I'm Lauralynn and I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm 46, untethered and not looking, I used to love to travel when I was younger but I haven't in years. I should probably get off my lazy bum and get out again. My passport is only good for another year till I have to renew it.
I spend the majority of my days reading and writing and doing genealogy. I know, a real snooze feast, but since I injured myself at work 13 years ago I'm limited as to what I can do anymore. So what's your story? How old are you? What do you do to fill your time? We have a LARGE Filipino community here in the Bay Area but it is very Americanized. We have several 5 China Towns, 3 Japan Towns, even 2 Korea Towns, we even have a Little India in the South Bay, but not even one Philippine Town. So the only thing I know about the Philippines is what I've seen on the news (which isn't much) or from old World War II movies (which are a joke, because they aren't very realistic). And it seems like the only time they ever tell us about that part of the world (meaning anything other than the Northern Hemisphere) is when there's something really bad going on or they are showing how awful things are in the countries they are showcasing. Not exactly the best way to promote good will and friendly relations towards are neighbors in my opinion.
