When Did You First Read Twilight (year) and how many times have you read a Twilight Book (total)?
March 2009 - just finished reading all 4 books and the draft of Midnight Sun. I watched the movie and, though I did like it, I was a little disappointed.
Update...4/28/09...I'm now almost done with New Moon for the 3rd time...
Update...5/15/09...halfway through BD for the 3rd time...
Update...6/04/09...finished 3rd time through and haven't touched the books for almost 2 weeks...feeling surprisingly ok with that, but still hooked on this site and I know I'll read the whole saga again at LEAST once before NM comes out in November...
Team Edward or Team Jacob? Why?
Edward...Love Jacob, too, but he doesn't belong with Bella
Twilight Saga, of COURSE
Halfway through book 4 of the Outlander series (Drums of Autumn) by Diana Gabaldon - loving the series!

Especailly when creative writing is such a subjective field. My professors all had different ideas of what was good and what wasn't. The Contempporary Fiction course required reading while diverse included only one or two books that I would ever choose and none that I'd read twice.
It's nice you know how to track some of these people - to get the straight scoop. :)
The "I'm a creative writing major" comment got me fuming. I agree too with Sari (and you) - we are challenged at work and most likely at home and elsewhere in our lives; why shouldn't it be okay to broaden our emotional horizons as well. Not to mention having some good, clean fun to boost our morale and infuse our souls. :)
Yeah I drive about an hour roundtrip daily but also spend two hours r/t on the subway. No way am I gonna get away with playing the audiobooks in the car though..unless I kick my husband out! He grumbles everytime I put on the soundtrack. Grrrr! If you're on itunes, you can get the first chapter of each of the first two books for free; good to check if the narrators voice will irritate you before buying!
