- I'm an avid reader who actually hadn't read a "vampire" book in over fiv years until I picked up Twilight--unwillingly, might I add--just this week.
I finished all four books in five days. Unfortunately, work got in the way.
I didn't even like Bella until she became a vampire. She annoyed me.
I kept reading the stories because I liked the stories, not because of the characters. I really didn't get into them until Breaking Dawn.
I'm a cat person, so I really think that the "werewolves" should have been "werelions" instead--picture the irony of Edward's favorite "vegetarian" food being what his rival turns into.

As a person who is always asking, “But what happens next?” when I finish a good story or book, I love fan fiction. I love to read it, and I love to write it. As long as the author doesn't mind their “universe” being shared, I'll enjoy most of the aspects of fan fiction. That being said, there are some things about the fan fiction subculture that I simply cannot stand. If I open a story and find even one of those things there, I usually don't read it. I'm reading Breaking Dawn for the fourth time...well, it might be the fifth. I've tried just rereading the saga straight through, from Twilight to BD, but somehow it went: Twilight, BD, Eclipse (I know), BD, New Moon ('cause I like it the least), BD.
