Bio: My name is Mia Rinaldi. I'm not always the happiest person, but I guarantee you I can be fun. There are parts of me that I try to keep to myself, and I'm always secretly wondering if people can see those hidden parts of me. I seldom let people in, but when I do I give my loyalty and my heart and I demand they do the same in return--it's only fair. Death is not something I look forward to. A lot of special people in my life have died and left empty holes in my heart. I'll probably never get over that pain. But I'm ok with that. Better to remember than to forget. Pretty much everything I say, do, or think contradicts itself in one way or another. And a lot of times, I'll do the opposite of what I really want. Its kind of annoying. Oh... and I hate choices. Usually I either want both or neither. Never just one. Choices make me frustrated. But enough about me... let me tell you about my life so far.

I was born into a family of servitude. Even though a part of me is ashamed of that fact, its true. My family--my mother, my father, and myself--serve the Drozdovs, a Royal Moroi family. The Drozdovs don't have any children around my age. Their children are all older and I've only met them once when I was much younger. I've lived most of my life at St. Vladmir's Academy, and when I was 14 my magical powers classed. Water is my element and I have not mastered it yet, as Moroi law says that using magic as an offensive or defensive form of attack is no longer necessary. But now, Tasha Ozera, Christian's aunt, is teaching me how to use my magic to its full advantage. When I was 15, I met a guy and I fell in love. His name was Andre, and that love never went away. But after two weeks he broke my heart, and shortly after, he died. Both my heart and my love died with him. And I waged war on Rose and Lissa as revenge, trying make my hurt go away. But that only made me hurt worse. I finally stopped attacking them when a greater enemy came about: Elena and Isaiah--two strigois on a rampage to destroy all the dhampir and Moroi and drink their blood. They were working with humans which made even daylight unsafe. But Rose, Christian, Mason, Eddie, and I combined our strengths to defeat Eliza and Isaiah and Rose gained her first two molnija marks. After that, I stopped disliking Rose, and even Lissa, because Rose saved my life. But after we got back, I learned my mother had been killed by the two Strigoi whom we'd just killed. I was devastated. But my father picked up the pieces and moved us to the Royal Court, where I now live and he now works. I've been learning to fight hand-to-hand thanks to the training the guardians at the Royal Court have given me. I haven't made many new friends but I suppose that suits me just fine.
