Seth Clearwater - Eclipse

I have read all four Twilight Saga books several times and have come to realize that I really like the character of Seth Clearwater who doesn't really show up until Eclipse (I think). Even Edward Cullen likes him! I hope they include Seth as a character too when they make the Eclipse movie.

Does anyone know or can explain the Hale twins? How can Jasper and Rosalie be twins? Or is that just part of their public "story?"
