1. I am a 44 year old mother of three young boys!
2. I am obsessed with Twilight
3. I am a speech therapist, which I am very passionate about.
4. I am also a den leader for my son in cubscouts.
5 I seriously would consider becoming a vampire if given the choice.
When Did You First Read Twilight (year) and how many times have you read a Twilight Book (total)?
A friend told me about them on Nov. 7, 2008 and I have read the entire series twice, Eclipse and Breaking dawn three times.
Team Edward or Team Jacob? Why?
Team Edward. There is something about his extreme beauty, his strong protective side and his willingness to compromise. Who wouldn't want someone to care about your happiness so much? I also appreciate how falling in love with Bella caused so much inner turmoil. It makes it that much more powerful.
Which Character Are You Most Like?
By the end of the series, I realized I am very much like Bella. I don't always see how very strong I am as a person, mother and woman. I am also like Bella in the way once I make a decision, I stick with it.
Favorite Books
Other than twilight? The Secret. Anything of human interest, especially parents with children with disabilities. I recently started the Harry Potter series.
What is Your Favorite Music
Ironically, Radiohead which I know is in the movies. I do like the Twilight Sound track. All kinds really from James Taylor to alternative rock.
Favorite Movies, TV Shows, Games:
I was a huge Rocky fan as a teenager. I am sucker for a good romance. The Piano is a favorite. Don't have a lot of free time for TV but I love Grey's Anatomy and The Office.
Favorite Quotes:
Most recently, "Not likely, Bella" in Breaking Dawn when she has her first bout of morning sickness. I can just hear him saying that. Now that is true love!
Favorite Activities
Relaxing with my family and friends. Just became addicted to Rock Band. Reading, going to movies and enjoying good food. I do very much love my work.
Hey Peri, sorry I missed your reply earlier; I had to sign off. Thank you for the Happy Birthday! No I haven't read the books, but its on my to do list. Hope to talk to you again!
Peri,
I found this about The Last Airbender...
You were right.... It's about Avatar... My son doesn't like the Sci-Fi cartoons, so I wasn't sure...
Suspense auteur M. Night Shyamalan takes a break from crafting original screenplays to tell this tale of a 12-year-old boy (Noah Ringer) who provides the last hope for restoring harmony to a land consumed by chaos. In a world balanced on the four nations of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air, people known as the Waterbenders, Earthbenders, Firebenders, and Airbenders have mastered their native elements. Though the masters can each manipulate their native elements, the only one with the power to manipulate all four elements is a young boy known as the Avatar. When the Avatar subsequently appears to die while still mastering his powers, the Fire nation launches a global war with the ultimate goal of global domination. One hundred years later, two teens discover that the Avatar and his flying bison have in fact been locked in suspended animation. Upon being freed from his prison, the Avatar embarks on an arduous quest to restore harmony among the four war-ravaged nations. - Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
