The Unique Renesmee

Hello, I'm Renesmee Carlie Cullen, but you can call me Nessie, or Ness.

I am Renesmee. Or Nessie, if you like.
I am the miracle, the surprise.

When I was conceived, there could have been no greater surprise. For it was believed impossible that such a creature could be conceived; a hybrid, a mixture between a human and a vampire. To say the least, my birth had been that of a surprise. Because of the mixed genetics combining in to one, my growth rate inside my mother's womb was much more rapid then that of a regular, human fetus. As a result of this, my mother experienced a very difficult time as I grew inside of her, pushing against her internal body and causing her much anguish and suffering. As she harbored me in her womb, we both began to starve -- my mother unable to consume any foods without having her body reject it. Carlisle, Rosalie, Edward, and the rest of my family became increasingly anxious as time progressed and I continued my growth. Bella was becoming increasingly more frail - something none of them knew how to treat. And for a time, it seemed as though it all was making a turn for the worst.

Thankfully, Jacob Black unintentionally discovered the key to treating our undernourishment. Blood. And this made sense. If my father needed to survive off of this, did it not make sense for me to need it, too? My mother, Bella, was all but willing to try consuming blood -- anything that might help save her child. Incredibly, Jacob's discovery worked and we had found something to sustain Bella and myself until the time of my birth. Life continued on in this manner, minus the fact I occasionally kicked and broke a rib or two. Purely accidental, I assure you. Once I learned what was causing her pain, I tried my very best to refrain from hurting her.


“Truth is beautiful within and without, forevermore.”The birth itself came much earlier than expected. My father and Jacob were forced to work side by side to keep Bella and I alive, nearly loosing her to the despair of death. And in the end, it was very close. Bella woke to an entirely new life as a vampire and I, to a new world. I met some lovely people upon my awakening, including my father, Rosalie, but most importantly, Jacob. I really like him. Three days after my birth, my mother and I finally met formally -- something that my family believed would be impossible considering the circumstances. Regardless, my mother was strong - much stronger and more self controlled then anyone could have hoped - and an unbreakable bond was forged between the two of us.

We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone –– we find it with another.”In the short period of time I have lived, I have developed much more quickly - physically and mentally - then any human child would ever be capable of. I have also inherited some traits from both of my parents. Unlike my father, I am capable of sleeping and unlike my mother prior the change, I much prefer blood to food. I was also gifted with a special talent for communicating with others through my own memories through touch, and this gift has proven to be very useful, for I am not one to discuss such things verbally. Not only do I prefer the quietness, but I'm fairly certain it unnerves my mother, for understandable reasons.

Flowers

The mere discovery of a field of stray wild flowers brings a smile to my face. Such a sight sooths any tension from my muscles. I will admit that the scent of daisies, lilies, and morning glories are those of my favorites. I tend to make a conscious effort in order to incorporate the beautiful life of Mother Nature into my home, finding various locations to display potted flowers and other attractive vegetation. The garden I maintain just outside our home is most precious to me. Flowers remind me just how fragile life truly is.

No matter what world or what location one may travel to, the essence of love is forever present. The passion between two persons will never be squelched from this earth or from the next. The deep feeling one individual may harbor for another can never be defeated. Time may be love’s fiercest enemy, but it can never be stopped. Love transcends time, no matter how large of a gap stands in its way. True love can never be defeated. Love can never be killed or massacred.
Love has been around since the beginning of time and shall forever continue into the future.
