When Did You First Read Twilight (year) and how many times have you read a Twilight Book (total)?
I don't really remember what year it was, but it was definitely before all the Twilight hype arose. As for how many times I've read the Twilight books...oh, God. Hmm...way too many! Haha!
Team Edward or Team Jacob? Why?
Oh, get ready for a novel. I have huge opinions on this topic, so brace yourself. Just letting you know right now, I favor Jacob over Edward. That does NOT mean that I am Team Jacob. It just means that, if put in Bella's situation, Jacob would have been my choice. Honestly, I find Jacob's personality and looks much more attractive than Edward's. I find Edward to be overprotective, overbearing, and just too intense for my tastes. Jacob is the kind of guy that I am attracted to, and plus., if Edward left me, I would not want him back the way that Bella did. I would have been angry. And I would have been really attracted to the way that Jake would take me the way I am, even if I was a mess. However, me and Bella are two totally different people. I don't really understand what Bella sees in edward, but if he is what makes her happy, then so be it. I guess that would make me Team Switzerland.
Which Character Are You Most Like?
I don't really know. I don't find any of the Twilight Saga's characters to really match up with my personality.

You make excellent points as usual. "In the movie "Fright Night" the original character that confronted a vampire with a cross, has no success in "taiming the monster, because he is not a true believer. "I wonder if there might be a parallel concept in "Twilight" in the fact that Carlise "Beliefs." CC, Q: "I have never once quit believing!"
The Cullen Cross is an interesting artifact. It of course comes from Carlisle's father's church. Carlisle's father's church might be called "The United Church of vengeance and condemnation" concepts which have sadly returned to some American churches. But Carlisle had transcended away from the beliefs of his father to accept the beliefs of Paul, Luther and Wesley's. The belief in a God of Love and Grace. When Carlisle looked at the cross from his father's church what do you think that symbolized to him?
What a great point. Alice has lost all of her memories from her human life.
Do you think that "The old Vampire" had a gift that allowed him to give her amnesia? Or could she have hit her head and had traumatic amnesia. A type which might lead to a return of her memory? Or do you think that it is more likely that she has "traumatic mental amnesia?"
I missed out on the fond analogy. Fond would certainly imply an entirely different relationship. IE: "Carlisle was fond of Ms. X. And appreciated the fact that she invited Esme to the garden party."
You make another excellent point by reminding us of the natural revultion humans experience when being in close proximity to a vampire.
Excellent points. You may very well have closed the case on the debate.
Points well made. Thank you for sharing, Doc
