Andrew, the child. Out of the group, Andrew is the easiest to please. This being a result of his childish nature. He is easily distracted and easily amused. It doesn't take much to make him laugh. He's very outgoing and, though he's often trying to be friendly, some are frightened by him. He doesn't seem to mind though, considering he's a master at making friends. He is referred to as "Drewy", "Puppies"(only by Ben), and a few other silly nicknames that pop up here and there. He is greatly bothered by the nickname "Andy" He says that he doesn't want to be referred to as the kid from Toy Story because he doesn't throw his toys away like that. (or something of the sort.) Andrew is terrified of women. Not the I'm-too-afraid-that-you'll-reject-me way, but the ew-you're-disgusting-because-you-have-female-body-parts sort of way. This means, if you didn't pick up on this, that he is homosexual. He is currently without a lover but that doesn't necessarily mean he's looking.
Danny, the 'father figure'. Being rather experienced, Danny results in being a great leader. If there's anyone to look up to it'd be Danny. He's wise, intelligent, and, well, pretty cool. Danny isn't only a good leader, he's the definition of a 'BAMF'. Though he's only about 5'7, if you see him on the street he's one brother you aren't going to want to approach.
Danny adores the blues. He sings a lot, typically on the front step of his old run down apartment in the rather sketchy parts of Savannah, GA. His voice, along with his BA demeanor, works as a defense mechanism. It's soulfulness takes people and changes their heart. If they had planned on messing with him, or for that matter, anyone else, they would forget it completely and continue whatever they were doing before.
And, though Dan might seem perfect, he's not. No one is. He has a rough past that isn't often spoken of. And he likes to keep it that way.
Hypnos, the Greek God of Sleep. Not as dangerous as his twin brother, Thanatos, Hypnos can put you to sleep with a single wink. Though he might be over 2000 years old, he's rather playful and childish. He adores women, especially beautiful ones, they're almost like works of art in his mind. Which is rather lucky for him, considering they usually tend to faint over him(and he doesn't even have to look at them). He is tall and thin, with green eyes and soft brown hair. He's also fairly muscular. Though he may think many women are beautiful, there is only one that his heart belongs to, Pasithea, the goddess of hallucination. (who he is still looking for.) He even has a few children, the Oneiroi; Morpheus, Phantasos, and Probetor.
Kurt Donald Cobain, we all know him, right? Well, we should. Kurt Cobain, shot by his evil wife, Courtney Love at the young age of 27. Musician, philosopher, misunderstood alien. Kurt is a self-loathing individual, he hates himself, his music and everything about him. He wears layered clothes to hide how skinny he is. He writes in journal more than daily. He shoots up when no one and everyone is looking. He might hide himself but he says that the best people are the ones that are themselves. "I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for someone I'm not" he says. Poor Kurt, never had a chance from day one.
Our story takes place in 1988, back when ol'Kurt was about 21, back before Courtney. Kurt is a loner and dropped out of high school. He's hiding from society and music is the least of his priorities. He's spending most of his time under a bridge somewhere in Washington State. (Kurt has already been 'reserved' by someone, so, for the most part, he's taken.)
Thanatos, The Greek personification of Death. He can kill with the touch of his finger and his hair is the flame of hell, or so I've been told. "The Flame," is how Eros, the god of love refers to him. Thanatos by default is a loner. He talks to no one except for his twin brother and his, erm, significant other, Eros, possibly better known as in Roman mythology, Cupid. Thanatos, easily figured from the previous sentence, is just about as queer as a clockwork orange. He detests women. they sicken him with their cheap talk and gossip behaviours. He wants nothing to do with their cattiness. Thanatos is tall and thin with green eyes like his twin brother, Hypnos, though, on the other hand, Thanatos' hair shines as brightly orange as... is there anything as orange as that hair? I don't think so...
He was born in Chelsea, MI, A small, old fashioned town near Ann Arbor. His mother raised him until she was killed by something that was thought "not appropriate for a 6 year old Phoenix. Phoenix was sent to an orphanage and was adopted by a rather uncaring family when he was 13. He ran away. He started hanging out with some kids that lived under this bridge. One of them was a girl named Kari. He would stay up all night talking to her about characters he had in mind for stories and she would tell him about her adventures of hopping trains. She got him into some good music. They'd try to dress up and walk to record stores and listen to the music they had playing there. On their way back to the bridge one day, Kari had gotten enough money to buy a cassette player and was listening to The Doors when Phoenix heard a train coming. He tried to pull her off the train tracks but she couldn't hear and wasn't too sure what he was doing so she pushed him away and fell on the tracks. She then felt the tracks shake. She looked back and saw a train coming right for her. She tried to get up but she was so nervous that she couldn't move. Phoenix tried once again to move her but she just fell again. The train was heading for her too fast for her to get up. Phoenix had no other choice but to back up out of the way of the train. Kari accepted this and smiled, letting him now that she understood there was nothing he could do for her. Phoenix attempted to smile back but there were tears streaming down his face. He looked down and closed his eyes as the train passed. After the tracks cooled he picked up Kari's remains and buried her under the bridge that night. He lit candles and gathered his other friends for her makeshift memorial service. He never knew anyone like Kari ever again. He often wishes he could go back and save her from the train that day but he knows he can't.
He later hitched a train back to Michigan and got a job and a cheap apartment.
‘What’s it going to be then, eh?’ There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, Dim being really dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar making up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening, a flip dark chill winter bastard though dry. The Korova Milkbar was a milk-plus mesto, and you may, O my brothers, have forgotten what these mestos were like, things changing so skorry these days and everybody very quick to forget, newspapers not being read much neither. Well, what they sold there was milk plus something else. They had no licence for selling liquor, but there was no law yet against prodding some of the new vesches which they used to put into the old moloko, so you could peet it with velocet or synthemesc or drencrom or one or two other vesches which would give you a nice quiet horrorshow fifteen minutes admiring Bog And All His Holy Angels and Saints in your left shoe with lights bursting all over your mozg. Or you could peet milk with knives in it, as we used to say, and this would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of dirty twenty-to-one, and that was what we were peeting this evening I’m starting off the story with..
The story takes place in the late 1990's and early 2000's but was written back in the 1960's and describes the corruption in the government. Alex, our character, is caught after being set up by one of his friends, Georgie, that is, and is sentenced to prison for 14 years. Alex, wanting to get out sooner than this, of course, hears about a new treatment called the "Ludovico Treatment." Which is a horrible thing that is supposed to reform criminals. This treatment ends up making Alex sick when he thinks of any acts of violence or sex. But also, as a result of one of the sessions, he cannot listen to his old favourite song, Ludwig Van Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Alex also has a connection with Serenity
All in all, Clyde isn't so nice. He cares only for himself and the people he hangs out are only his 'friends' because they will benefit him. He is capable of charming people but his sadistic sense of humor often gets in the way. He's the kind of guy that your dad would have that "I'm going to shoot you and burry you in my back yard" feeling. Clyde violates social norms and expectations without remorse, not to mention taking the virginity of many women without feeling anything other than pleasure. He cares for nothing but himself. That’s it.
Axel, spends most his time in the forest taking pictures of leaves and other things like that. He's originally from Scotland but moved to America when he was 16. He listens to nothing written after the 1970's. He rarely wears shirts, or pants for that matter. He's a flower child. He belongs in hippie commune back in the '60's. There isn't much more too it. He's rather conversational, though he tends to hang by himself. He's easy to talk to if he's out in public instead of chilling out under his old lean-to in the forest, which doesn't happen to be that often. Axel is the kind of guy you might see playing a pan pipe with animals surrounding him.

Whats up doc? Was that too cheesy? Dr. Zeke Quarta, specialist in mental disorders. The good Dr. Q. is always trying to help when he can. He’ll do anything to help a patient in need. But, the other side of him, the Mr. Hide, if you will, is rather… experimental. He’ll turn into that sadistic mad scientist in a matter of seconds. Dr. Quarta’s other side is horrible and deadly and always up for an experiment. (wink wink) Zeke is also addicted to painkillers from ages ago when he received an operation on his wrist.
The personification of the lyric "I've got a tortured mind and my blade is sharp, bad combination in the dark." Wolfgang Amadeus Erikson is a sarcastic terrorist that will stop at nothing to cause anyone pain. Dispite this, he is very romantic and doesn’t realize that he will never find love. He adores sharp objects almost as much as sex. Sex is almost like an outlet for him. Rough, passionate, whatever, he’ll go for it. Though, it’s hard for him now that he’s in a mental institution. No women except for ones that happen to be locked up out of his reach. Wolf happens to be under the care of Dr. Quarta. Wolf has not yet seen Dr. Q.’s dark side, though we all know he’d love it.
