When Did You First Read Twilight (year) and how many times have you read a Twilight Book (total)?

I sat down to read Twilight Jan. 4, 2010, the 3rd day into my vacation, after my daughter had gotten me the book for Christmas. Last night, on Feb. 4 (well technically the 5th since it was after 1 a.m.) I finished Breaking Dawn. I've never read that many books so fast, but I was driven to keep going at every spare moment till I finished them all. No way did I or could I have planned it that way but I'm a little amazed that it turned out that way. Now I'm a little sad that it's over but I will be revisiting that beautiful story many times, I'm sure.

Team Edward or Team Jacob? Why?

As much as I love Edward--no other could be Bella's truelove, I loved Jacob as well. I felt for him and understood him but never once did I feel drawn to a "team" because I loved them both. I guess I was Team Switzerland as Bella declared herself once. Since Edward and Jacob ended up being the closest of friends--family even, the whole idea of teams is really silly to me.

Which Character Are You Most Like?

I don't feel I'm like any of them; they're all so special. I guess on further reflection I did identify the most with Bella--maybe because she was female, human (thru most of the books anyway), insecure about herself and she loved so deeply. Also she was a big fan of Wuthering Heights, like me, and saw the beauty in the flawed characters. Maybe it was because she was the narrator mostly. I guess the biggest reason I identify with her is that I too would face down the whole Volturi to protect my daughter. Not that I'd last but I'd take a run at them! :D

Favorite Books

Are you kidding? lol Before the Twilight series blew me away my favorite book (like Bella) was Wuthering Heights. I also loved Bret Easton Ellis and Stephen King, although I'm VERY MAD at him for the mean things he said about Stephanie (for SHAME MR. KING!!!) I also loved the old books of Betty Smith (she wrote A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Maggie Now, Joy in The Morning and Tomorrow Will be Better)

What is Your Favorite Music

Just about everything on the Twilight & New Moon soundtracks, and I adore Lady Gaga. My tastes run pretty eclectic on music; I love everything from classical to Eminem!
