- hi Nessie, I also have read House of Night series by P.C. Cast and her daughter Kristen Cast. The first book is called Marked. I am on the fifth book called Hunted. It is about teenagers becoming marked as vampire fledgings having to go to the house of night/finishing school until the complete change as made them into vampires. I have enjoyed it just as much as Twilight and I have also heard they may make a movie. I have also heard that Vampire Diaries is good, so when I finish the House of Night series, I will look into those.
