Greetings! You can all call me Jane, a self-proclaimed sadist and a prized member of the Volturi. I have a twin brother named Alec. It is quite easy to tell us apart since I have a face too pretty for a boy.


We were both orphans who lived in the outskirts of Italy and were treated as nasty scoundrels. I must admit, even in our human life, we were rather impish; playing with voodoo dolls and cursing people. Having witnessed and experienced so much pain and suffering, no one expected us to mingle with the kids and play hide and seek.


Then when we decided to deal with the fact that it was all our young life could offer, we were confronted by a man who claims to that he has been a spectator of our little spiteful acts and admits that he was completely amused by it. He laid an irresistible offer; a new life which my brother and I agreed to take. He insisted he bequeath it when we were older though. Unfortunately imprudent humans tried to burn us at the stakes and he was forced to bestow it sooner than what was planned.


I can only remember pain coursing through my veins, that which I never I thought I would surpass. It was extremely agonizing. Waking up was immensely refreshing. I felt new and I felt power. I was a vampire and so was my brother.



As soon as we were acquainted with the man who changed us and his allies we were received as part of their family, the Volturi Coven. Our hero became known to us as Aro Volturi, a wise and influential vampire who rules our kind alongside his confidantes Marcus and Caius.


My brother and I have become the most respected guards of the coven, having proven us worthy of the guards’ recognition.

By some strange occurrence which is to say my transformation, I was able to develop a gift. I am able to channel an illusion of pain in anyone’s mind, quite terrifying if you ask me. So if you are not the suicidal type, I suggest you keep your distance. I pride myself for being vindictive and mercy is not on my vocabulary.

Volterra has been mine and Alec's dwelling place for a century and still counting. Everything about it screams home; the towers, the countryside, not to mention the abundant human population. so don't come here unless you want to join us for dinner...on the second thought, do visit. It would be quite delightful to gain new acquaintances
