Eclipse Rehearsals in August, Filming in September

Acting411 has some new info on the schedule of Eclipse, including news that rehearsals will begin in August and filming in late September–

Rehearsals are tentatively slated to begin August, 2009 with actual filming starting in late September, 2009. The release date for Eclipse has been announced as Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Eclipse Director David Slade on Twilight: “Just Shoot Me”

David Slade, who was recently announced to be at the helm of the sequel to New Moon, Eclipse, was on the radio in November and offered some pretty brutal comedy about Twilight. The host asked Slade to tell a joke he had apparently posted at some point on Twitter–

Summit Officially Confirms David Slade as Eclipse Director

David Slade, director of Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night has been officially confirmed as the director of the sequel to New Moon, Eclipse. Unofficial Announcement of Breaking Dawn Production

Acting411 is reporting that Breaking Dawn will be filmed in the Spring of 2010, and released in early 2011–

High Resolution Version of Wolf Pack Photo: Wallpaper HQ

Here’s a HQ version of the official wolf pack photo that was revealed last night by USA Today. In it, you can more clearly make out the tattoo that each member of the wolf pack is inked with. It seems to be something like the Cullen Crest–a new graphic symbol invented just for the movie. Consider it a logo for all the New Moon merchandise we’ll be seeing–and which I’ll be undoubtedly buying.…

Computer Generated Wolves Will Have Actors’ Eyes

Chris Weitz has revealed an interesting detail on how the shapeshifting werewolves in New Moon will appear once they transform into wolf form. Though they will be computer generated creatures the size of horses, the eyes will be digitally pasted on from the actors’ actual eyes, in order to make them as realistic as possible. Weitz also notes that the wolf pack has been bonding quite a bit in preparation for their roles–
