I've seen it twice already and plan to go again next weekend. SOOOOO much better than Twilight. Finally the kind of film we deserve.

I agree with Christina Pehrson's comment. I am 42 and the Twilight series has been an escape for me. Im a full time working mom of two wonderful children and reading the series has been an escape of every day life. It also brings back memories of that first love that we all never forget, how strong and powerful it is when we are so young. I want to thank Stephanie Meyer for writing this series, it has reawakend the love of reading. Thanks again, Liz

I was at the midnight screening, it was great! I love New Moon. It seals the book for me. As I watched the movie I can hear the book in my mind. its amazing, what a beloved story. I cant wait for Eclipse.

This is my favorite quote from the book & I can't believe it was left out in the movie!

Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars—points of light and reason… And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn’t see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.
Edward Cullen, New Moon, Chapter 23, p.514
I really felt a lot was left out toward the end. The passion between them left a lot to be desired. Edward's explanation was also lacking. The wole airplane ride conversations were left out. I really didn't like how after they left Volterra Bella just wakes up in her bed. Remember... she thought she was dreaming that Edward was there. I was greatly dissapointed this part of the book was left out. I really did like the movie & definately plan on seeing it again. CW was great with following the book except on that part. Taylor was amazing & the wolf pack was scary in parts!
One a different note I'd like to respond to whoever was commenting on the "old people" being at the midnight premeire...Remembet that Stephenie did not write theese books with the young adult audience in mind. She is married with 3 children & hardly a teen ager! I think we ALL can relate to first love! It brings back so many feelings that we (the older ones) will never forget. I am 33 years old & absolutely adore this series! I know 8 year olds all the way up to 50+ that enjoy the Twilight series. Perhaps at different stages of our lives we'll get something different from the books. Don't judge! It's simply amazing that SM can write something that all different ages can relate to. I'd like to thank her for helping me "escape" from everyday life of being a stay at home mommy of 3 with 1 on the way! I can't wait for Eclipse & hopefully Breaking Dawn!

Im sooo mad at New Moon because they leftway to much out like the birthday party, at the end in the woods there is just to much missing.
