The Twilight Saga

Ever since i saw the movie Twilight i haven't really been able to think or do anything that doesn't relate to something Twilight. I've spent hundreds of dollars on twilight and so has my mother. My room is like a shrine to Twilight with all the posters and everything. It's kind of cool how one book can change my life and the world so drastically. Just think about the magazines. Pretty much every recent magazine has something to do with Twilight. I was at the mall last night and every where i looked there was Twilight even Orange Julius has a Twilight drink called Berry-pom Twilight. Entertainment has changed with Twilight too. So how has you life changed since you discovered Twilight?
*Also it was released in a press confrence on December 9th that Eclipse will also be released in IMAX on June 30, 2010. How spectacular!

Twilight saved my life.
Before reading Twilight, I was a Junior in high school, SCARED to death of life after high school. I didn't have a solid plane, I didn't know what I wanted to do career wise.... AND on top of all that, I was just getting over a broken heart. It was my first love and he didn't even like me.

At first, I only read Twilight because my best friend read it and had such great things to say about it.
It was last year, or should I say earlier this year and I was Junior in high school. I am now a Senior.
Originally I only wanted to read the book Twilight because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and then watch the movie.

It wasn't until the summer that I got to read it. I couldn't find it at the Library so I had to buy a copy. It took me 5 days to finish Twilight but IT WAS WORTH IT! I LOVED IT!!!!! I fell in love with the Cullens, I fell in love with EDWARD! I fell in love with Stephenie Meyers! It was then that I decided, I wanted to be a writer. Twilight and Stephenie inspired me to be a writer. It also inspired me to read more. I never liked reading and use to only read when I had to, now I read because I want to.

Stephenie saved me because, um she wrote the Twilight saga; and because upon reading it and reading more about her, I found that she and I had a lot in common, ie: She said that she had imaginary friends and she daydreams to kind of the extreme, I do that too, the only difference was that, she thought it was normal, I knew it wasn't normal. I always thought I was weird because of stuff like that, and so when I read that Stephenie did that too it made me feel like "Wow, someone else does that too?! I'm not the only one!". Then I asked my friends and they said that they do it too. For the first time in my life I felt normal. I finally accepted myself for who I am.

Twilight also helped me get over my broken heart, because I could relate to how Bella felt in the beginning, when Edward was being mean to her. I was nothing like Bella(except for the fact that she felt about Edward, in the beginning of the book, what I felt about my first love) but the guy I liked/loved was so much like Edward, can't even begin to explain how. I guess in a way you could say I took my feelings for that guy and convert it to Edward. He and Edward had so much in common(no hes not a vampire, but he does have a Supernatural element to him), I felt Edward was the improved version of him. Edward was really my fantasy guy. People on this site tell me how lucky I was that had an Edward in my life, well I don't I feel lucky; not anymore anyways.

After reading Twilight, I dedicated the next couple weeks to reading the rest of the books. I couldn't wait to get my hands on each one of them.

Since reading reading the Saga, I have seen Twilight a Billion times, my sister had the movie and later on just decide to let me keep it; about 90%+ of what I buy is Twilight saga related; but sadly I've only seen New Moon once, opening night.

Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight saga saved my life because it helped me to realize what I wanted to do with my life, it helped me get over my broken heart, and most of all, the one I am most thankful for, it helped me to accept myself. Twilight and Stephenie Meyer saved my life. Without it, I would still be stuck in my deep depression of feeling lost and hopeless, and coping with my broken heart of my first love; for the first time in my life I finally felt salvation.

Twilight has changed my vision of certain things in my life, and it's true that since I've read the saga I can only think about this ! What impress me the most is the love Edward & Bella have for one another it is so strong, pure and deep that you can only pray to live a powerful love like theirs!!! In addition, it's true that i always feared vampires but since Twilight my vision on the magic world and vampires has changed radically...
I think the twilight saga will always be a part of me and what I want for a relationship...

Twilight really changed my life.
It sounds silly, but before I read Twilight, I used to have much fear of vampires. And this book really changed my way of thinking and acting. Before I used to do the first thing that came to my head, but I learned to always think well before making a decision, because directly or indirectly it will affect someone else.

I would not go so far as to it changed my life..
The saga was a really well written peice, and I really enjoyed reading them, but it was the same as reading anyother book.
But I will admit that it helped with a better understanding of what kind of man I am looking for. :D

Twilight hasnt really changed my life like others have discribed, however I find the books and idea helps me thru some of my bouts with depression. Yes I have gone crazy with things, I even got the Edward Barbie for my birthday! :D I turned 36 lol and have 4 kids. For whatever reason, it seems to help me get a better grip on my reality. I know its not a cure for my depression and after a while something else will probably help me thru, but for now I just enjoy it. Besides I love telling people I have an authentic replica of a movie prop, or in plain english, a real fake movie prop! LOL

Well ever since I've read the book. It just captivated me, especially Edward and his old fashioned ways in the romance department. But I just get lost in the books and everyone of my friends tell me I'm addicted. Which I am LOL, But like whenever I'm not reading it you see everything differently. Now I would really like to find someone like Edward lmao!
