The Twilight Saga

Lets discuss the Twilight Saga movies. Here are my opinions on them
- Twilight was awesome. It had a lot of romance as well as other emotions, but everything else was kind of average but not bad
- New Moon was beyond words. It kinda lacked emotions but the action was GREAT! everything looked so well
-Eclipse will be the best movie, in my opinion theres going to be an equal amount of action and emotion (hopefully). Also it's going to be in IMAX! how cool is that? Eclipse, in 3D? um yes please :)
-Breaking Dawn, are they making this movie? Summit hasn't confirmed it yet but i bet they will.(SPOILER ALERT) I think it will be hard to create visually. Bellas pregnancy will be very hard to do. Bellas change will be hard because they have to change Kristens look completly. Also Renesmee will be difficult because of how fast she grows.
What do you think of the movies? Opinions please

I remember now it was mentioned in New Moon, but I was refering to the scene when hes explaining who they are. Its in New Moon movie when hes telling Bella about them, but that part is in Twilight book when Bella goes to the Cullens house for the first time that she learns of the Volturi.

I too hope that they stick very close to the book, especially the part where Edward is 'demonstrating the benefits of the bed'. I also know Jaspers story is in there in a flash back form. Do you think that they will keep the ending the same? In the meadow? or do you think that they might change that a little?

What part are you most looking forward to see or hoping to see if theyve put it in?
I wonder if theyll put the part where Bella goes to La Push and then to Angelas and she discovers Edward following her.

You know how the movie and book is from Bellas perspective, well we know the tent scene is in there but I also know that the newborn fight in the clearing is in there 2. So what angle are they going to do that from? since Bella is in the tent.

Dan is right about the Volturi being mentioned in New Moon. It is while they are watching Romeo and Juliet, but unlike in the movie they are at Bella's house, not school. Part of that dialouge in the movie is also in the book.

I also hope that the romantic aspects of Eclipse are not toned down at all in the movie. The love triangle is the basic structure of that whole book. Sure, Victoria is also very important to the story, but without the love triangle, there would be no tent scene (by far, my favorite part of that book!). I am so glad that Stephenie insisted it be in the movie, and like Dan, I hope it stays true to the book. :-)

1st..they talk about the voultrie n both. n twilight. they say it n passing when n other words they said the name but didnt go n2 detail. but they had to get n2 it n new moon for edwards suicide plan. 2nd dont read n2 too much about eclipse cause dont think they will play down the romance due to thats is the reason for the books, victoria mayb more mention or seen at the end yes but dont think it b a major thing,, remember no1 knows its victoria until after the party. they all think its some1 other person controling the newborns. but i do c ur point about the tent. i liked it too. hopefully they get closer to the book n detail at that point

Did anyone notice that just before her party scene in new moon Edward is talking about the Volturi. Thats actually in Twilight not New moon. Im glad they put it in otherwise we'd have no idea who the Volturi who. Well of course people who read the books would know who they are but people who have only ever seen the films would be clueless.
I read somewhere that the romance is played down in Eclipse. Its more concentrated on the victoria problem and war. The romance is there but I dont think its full on as it is in the book. Which would make no sense to me because Eclipse is all about the love triangle, which is the foundation of Breaking Dawn. The Victoria issue has to be in there as its essential and Im glad that the tent scene is the movie but I hope theres adequate amount of romance.

well to b fair..a movie cant exactly b like the book word for word. no matter how much the director wants it to b..but it was 90% like the book than majority of the movies made from book. all major characters will b played by the same actors/actresses that is a done deal unless some1 dies or goes 2 jail.

Echo, your right New Moon the movie does match the book closer. So many things taken from the book. Obviously they have to pare it down to fit within a 120 minute time slot. One thing that have changed, for the better for me at least, is the ending of the movie. The book does end in the wood, but the whole proposal ordeal was good! I think it made the movie so much more interesting and sets the stage for Eclipse the movie.

I'm still hoping that it's plural and Breaking Dawn is two movies.

So, I decided to start re-reading New Moon after watching the movie. I have been noticing a lot of differences, but I what I'm finding ironic is that a good portion of the movie matches exactly with the book. Sure, many things were left out, but just like Twilight some of the dialouge is taken straight from the book. Althought I though the New Moon movie was great, I'm really beginning to appreciate it more.
