iam reading eclipse and i think that sometimes bella leads jacob on who else thinks that the case ?would love 2 know what u think

Bella is clear in her relationship with Jacob that Edward will always be the one. She keeps Jacob in her life because he is her best friend- which is a different kind of love. Remember Bella is not very girlie and doesn't have a close girlfriend. Jacob's character is brought in as a protagonist. I see his character as more competitive with Edward rather than truly loving Bella. Jacob is more into playing on Bella's feelings when she is unsure. We all are unsure at times in our lives.

Bella is my least fav character she irritates the heck out of me and i don't think she deserves the two guys that are battling for her attention.........but i have to admit i get kinda jealous knowing she has edward and i don't and knowing she will always have him even thought this is all fiction.........and she does kinda lead poor jake on in New Moon and Eclipse

bella is ok kind of. sometimes she can be a kind of stubborn, but sometimes we all can relate to her. after reading twilight book 1 i hated bella. i criticised her but later realized i was jealous of her.....coz i want a edward!!!!!!!

I think Bella is my least favorite character because of what she puts these guys through. Sometimes I'm really anti-Bella

I was most conflicted when Bella could not seem to make her mind. Of course knowing how the end is, I am comforted that she will eventually pick "my guy." Having said that, it irritated me that she could not keep it straight a lot and I felt for both Jacob and Edward. I suppose, that is what made for a really good story. =)

Bella make seem like she's leading him on at times.. and at times she actually is

But most of the time it is unintentional, I think
The times when it isnt, I believe, that bella is trying to keep jacob around becuase he is her "sun"
