Team Jacob/Team Edward Treaty

Hi everyone! For the past few weeks now I have asked for your opinion on a treaty between Team Edward and Team Jacob to help deal with some of the fighting that happens between the two groups on here. Well, this what you came up with: Tell me what you think!

From day one, it seems as though Jacob and Edward have always been two opposing forces
Even at the end of the day, most would agree that every Twilight fan is one big family. Even though some may prefer one character over the other, we are still connected with one another.
Team Edward or Team Jacob members not make fun of one another.
Team Edward or Team Jacob should not make any rude, insulting, or threatening comments to one another.
Team Edward or Team Jacob members should not post in each other’s forum unless they have something positive to say.
Team Edward and Team Jacob members should respect the opinions and preferences of others.
No team is better than the other. This treaty is designed to pull the teams together, not apart.
Even if one person does not like Team Jacob or Team Edward, they should keep their opinions to themselves and not insult the opposing team.
One team member should not try to change the opinions of the opposing team member.
Don’t hate each other; be polite and sensitive to one another’s point of view.
One team member should not start a hating discussion about the opposing team/ opposing team’s character.

I really do like this treaty. Peace is what this site needs. No more fighting on who is better. Twilight wouldn't really be Twilight if Edward or Jacob was missing. Both characters are completely essential. This treaty is great. :)

I am on team jacob but, i don't hate team edward. I think edward and jacob cool people and good looking guys, but i just happen to like jacob more. AND NOT because of jacob BODY!

Hello Team Jacob/Team Edward,

Once again a treaty would actually be perfect amongst all the Twilight fans. I feel in my own personal way there truly is no need for a treaty however, we need to make ammends when some fans can truly just be professional and respect the opinions of others. Let me just point this out Stephenie Meyer's wrote Twilight based on a dream. She wrote this Twilight saga about a vampire and a mortal who fall in love. In New Moon she writes about the complications the vampire goes through in being happy with Bella, and wants to give her the opportunity of living a mortal life without his interference. This is where Bella begins to spend more quality time with Jacob who happens to be a werewolf. We knew Bella's heart was broken due to Edwards departure however, she never truly forgot about him. She was always hopeful that he would return. This is why she told Charlie she didn't want to leave Forks to go live in Jacksonville with her Mom Rene. She knew somewhere hidden in her heart she would see Edward once again. However, once the storyline got intense in Stephenie Meyer's point of view alot of fans felt a little disappointed. We can't always expect to please all our fans with what they would truly want to see reveal in front of their eyes. This is why we call it work in progress. A character is chosen for a part, if we the fans don't like that particular character then we take it upon ourselves to recreate that scene with your favorite character, and write it in your own words. If this happens to work then you are a movie director, and screen writer. This will then help motivate more fans to recreate this movie in their own point of view and continue to make sure this love story endures through generations to come. This is what we call movie production at it's best. We can always satisfy everyone with the way Stephenie wrote her book. Someday some writer, film director or producer will recreate this movie once again with their own Edward, Bella & Jacob. One big example is the You Tube video I have seen about Breaking Dawn where they bring in the allegiance of the Vampires from Underworld, The Covenant, The Lycans, and Twilight. This is what we call movie creation at it's best. It's better to stop debating and look into making this movie bigger and better for generations to come. If it's a treaty we need to have, then a treat it should be. Emmett Cullen in Breaking Twilight.

I am Team Jacob but I do still like Edward. They work out their differences in the end, why can't we?

Everything is OK between Jacob and Edward. Cant WE be OK? I mean just like she/he said "We are all one big family when it comes to Edward and Jacob. Can we all get along as friends even if we all have different opinions on each others teams? Think about it then write about it.

The characters in Twilight are all love able, but I still like Bella and Edward more than Jacob.
