Let's kick off the summer with some fangs
Ok, are you ready to hear what the first book in the summer reading list is? *drum role* For this first week June 18th- June 25th we are going to be reading and discussing the first book in the Vampire Academy series. Its called Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. A lot of you guys were asking to include this book series in the list. Here's the description of the book:
Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with an unbreakable bond to the earth's magic. She must be protected at all times from Strigoi; the fiercest and most dangerous vampires--the ones who never die.

So go out and get this book from the library or maybe you want to buy it. But we will discuss this book all this week. I'll create a discussion about it in the Team Edward Group and we can discuss it there or here on this blog post.

i love this series i have read every book including spirit bound....... and i cant wait for the next book to come out..... this series is amazing and traps you into its story...... it is so imaginitive that as i read it i felt as if i were rose and these things were happening to me........ i read all of these books in one night because i get so entraced with them..... richelle is an amazing writer and i will continue to follow this series til the end be it whatever character is the main one....... i cried many times as i read this series like when mason died and when demitri became strogi....... the way she keeps this story goin and discribing every thing as if you were right there makes me speechless....... this series is number 2 on my list twilight being number one in my list..... i love reading but i am never capable of sitting for 8 straight hours of reading (except reasonable pauses such as the bathroom etc) until i came across this series which actually i read the first book of this before i read twilight............ i hope you all give this series a try........ you will be surprised at so many of the things these 2 girls can do in one book

Love this series.....the next book due out in the fall will be the last one featuring rose, however richelle will be doing a spin off with the characters from the books

I love VA especialy Shadow Kiss and Blood Promise... cried when Dimitri became a strigoi. Does anyone know when next book is out???
