Wings broken;
She had been stripped,
Torn in anguish.
She silently prowled the streets,
Tearfully thinking of the beauty and bliss
which had been stolen from her.
Desperately she tried to recover her pride,
but to no avail.
Tears in her eyes, she had nowhere to go,
but to him.
Kneeling on the wet pitch
in the black of night,
To pray for the last time,
Calling upon the one true savior she knew.
Wait! he had abandoned her;
To him she no longer existed.
She galantly stood up,
Dried her tear stained face and
merged into the dreadfully dark shadows
that had been gnawing at her innocence since he abandoned her.
She was no longer broken,
but she had fallen parallel to the world
which she no longer belonged.
