Stephenie and Breaking Dawn -- Children's Choices!

The votes are in and teens across the country have voted Breaking Dawn the Children's Choice Book of the Year and Stephenie Meyer the Children's Choice Author of the Year. The awards were announced at a swanky event in the heart of New York City last evening. Stephenie unfortunately could not attend, but several people from Little, Brown were there to share in the celebration. Check out some (very amateur) photos from the event. We hope to have some more professional pics for you soon!

The winners of last night’s awards were featured on the TODAY SHOW this morning, click here to see the great mention of Breaking Dawn and Stephenie!

Thank you all for your support and votes - this would not have been possible without you!

Stephenie's Editor Megan Tingley accepts on her behalf

this book is mostly for teens and adults because it has to much sexual stuff in it to be a children's book but I am glad Stephenie won the award cause I think breaking dawn is the best book out of the whole series.

Steph is an amazing writter but, this book shouldn't be a Children's book. I'm 11 and my friends are 9, 11, and 12. I read it even though I'm a kid lol. But I think this should be for teens and or adults mostly.

I am 11, but this IS NOT a childrens book! She had a baby in this book and my friend that is 12 didn't know what a corpse was. I knew it because (this might sound bad and mean) very smart, and I had read all the twilight saga in 3 months. But Stephenie deserves all the awards she gets!!!!
