Unfortunately I am not excited about this book coming out. I read the 1st one and the graphics drove me crazy! I do not like the..what is the right word????...graphics all done Anime/Asian style. It reminds me of those horrible cartoons that my son watches, like Pokemon and Sailor Moon. I have enough work cut out for me NOT picturing the characters the way the movies portray them, now I have to fight cartoon/animation images of the characters if I read the Graphic Novels. I try desperately to have my own images of the characters of TTS.
I would have liked to see the illustrations in a more realistic fashion...like a lot of the pencil sketches that fans have done. The ones in The Graphic Illustrated Guide that were in the Outtakes section were nice...or the fantastic pictures that the very talented members of this site have on their pages or sent as comments..the ones with the characters drawn more like real people & not cartoon-ish. idk...that's just my preference.
.
I am glad to see that others are happy about it, though : [ (happy vampire).
It does make a nice addition to any TTS collection and I'm all about books..I love them! *coughhateebookscough*
