The house of night book by p.c cast r great. There is also the Night World series by L.J Smith n then theres the last vampire series by Christopher Pike.

House of Night is kinda like Harry Potter but with Vampires n they are rly good books.

Night World is a mix of stories bowt Vampires, Werewolves humans n shapeshifters n how they fall in love with each other there are 3 bind ups n the 10th book is cumin out later this yr. Each lil story is around 200 pages.

The last vampire is bowt a a rly old vampire who is actin as a normal school girl she thinks she is the last vampire but then she realises that she isnt it shows u her life n all the times she's nearly died. They are really cool books n they just get u hooked.

Here are the blurbs.

This is for the first house of night book

"After she is Marked, 16-year-old Zoey Redbird enters the House of Night and learns that she is no average fledgling. She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess Nyx. But she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers. When she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school's most elite club, is mis-using her Goddess-given gifts, Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny— with a little help from her new vampyre friends."

This is the 1st night world

"In 'Secret Vampire', Poppy is dying. Her best friend, James can offer her eternal life - as a vampire. One kiss and she sees into his soul. But can she follow him into death ...and beyond? In 'Daughters of Darkness', there are three sisters with a secret, on the run from their cruel and ruthless brother. Can their new human friend Mary Lynette resist the powerful charm of their brother -and save the sisters and herself from a deadly fate at the hands of a werewolf? In 'Enchantress', Blaise is irrestistible. She's lethal. She bewitches boys for sport. then she meets a boy who matters to her cousin. Thea. They become rivals in love. It's Thea's white magic against Blaise's black magic. They're both breaking the rules. But it's Thea who risks expulsion from the Night World ..."

This is the last vampires

"Now Alisa is living in the 21st Century, ready to take on an ancient and powerful enemy. She will do whatever it takes to protect herself and her secret, even if it means destroying the people she loves. For Alisa, human weakness must be battled against. The last vampire, will not die ..."

Hope these help =D

Audrey if you haven't read Audrey, wait! It's a book you'd love to read. It's written by Robin Bently.
"It's about Audrey Cuttler who dumps self-involved Evan, the lead singer of a little band called The Do-Gooders. Evan writes, "Audrey, Wait!," a break-up song that's so good it rockets up the billboard charts. And Audrey is suddenly famous!
Now rabid fans are invading her school. People is running articles about her arm-warmers. The lead singer of the Lolitas wants her as his muse. (And the Internet is documenting her every move!) Audrey can't hang out with her best friend or get with her new crush without being mobbed by fans and paparazzi."

Or you could read Airhead by Meg Cabot.
"Emerson Watts didn’t even want to go to the new SoHo Stark Megastore grand opening. But someone needed to look out for her sister Frida, whose crush, British heartthrob Gabriel Luna, would be singing and signing autographs there—along with the newly appointed Face of Stark, teen supermodel sensation Nikki Howard.

How was Em to know that disaster would strike, changing her—and life as she’d known it—forever? One devastating accident later, and Em Watts, always the tomboy, never the party princess, is no longer herself. Literally.

Now getting her best friend Christopher to notice that she’s actually a girl is the least of Em’s problems.

But what Em’s pretty sure she’ll never be able to accept might just turn out to be the one thing that’s going to make her dream come true…."

Or the 1800-series also byMeg Cabot.
"Jess Mastriani has never been what you'd call a typical Midwestern teenager—her extracurricular activities, instead of cheerleading or 4-H, include fist-fights with the football team and month-long stints in detention. A part of Jess would like to be the prom queen her mother has always envisioned her being, but another part is secretly counting the days until she's saved up enough money to buy her own Harley.

Then something happens that guarantees Jess will be one of the in-crowd...at least until her newfound talent ends up getting her dead."

Hmm where to start.

The house of night series (Starting with the book "Marked") By P. C. Cast. I have not read all of it, because I had lost the book, but what I did read was good, and I have freinds who tell me it is a great Vampire book.

Fahrenheit 451by Ray Bradbury. Its a classic, and pretty short too at around only 201 pages.

The Giver by Lois Lowry. A very short book, but a very nice story.

2001 by Arthur C. Clarke. I dont know if you would like this one or not, depnding on how "deep" you look at things. Its an examination of human life through a tale about space, so if your into that , go for it. :D

Hmm, anything by Michael Crichton. He is a great writer, I would suggest either "Andromeda Strain", or "Prey".

All I can think of right now, tell me if you are able to check out any of these books and tell me what you think =)
