@Shelley, Atually loved the way that Catherine Harwicke and Chris Weiz handled their films, but I feel David Slade went too full on in every direction. I haven't got a problem with the way Melissa Rosenburg adapted it, but it could have been so much more sensitive, and feel it was out of touch with the other two movies. I know and appreciate that all 3 directors have a different style, and a different perspective on the books and films, but I feel it was handled badly. the other two films stand alone as great movies, even without the books but this one just didn't do it for me.
I agree though that B.D shouldn't be made into 3D. Will definately watch it in 2D if they do.

I do not want my favorite book from the saga to become 3-d at all, I will go watch in a 2-d theater if it is. I love this book and the other three movies were great in 2-d, I can't stand 3-d movies with the blurry lines, and the glasses give me a headache. Please listen to us and do not go 3-d. I'm sorry Heidi you should not be hating on Eclips the movie it was the best of the series. Loved the action loved the romance loved the humor of the movie. If you think any of twilight movies are word from word like the book you need to reread the books, none of the movies match with the books. These are great interpretations of the books.

Been away for a while, and just reading all the interviews etc about the birthing scens and sex scenes anticipated for B.D, and all I can say is that if they it anywhere near as awful as Eclipse, then I'm outta here! I was so upset after seeing eclipse, I had such high hopes for it. I found some of the acting really questionable, the fact that Jasper had a (terrible) southern accent for the first time in the third film absolutely laughable! I know he's supposed to be from the deep south but COME ON! Does Edward not have any other music other than De Bussy? Still playing the same music 2 films later.... Did anyone else not howl with laughter at the sight of the Cullens running throught the forest all with straight pointed fingers, Emmett was the only one running naturally. Rosalie looks horrendous, she was doing it for us "real" girls out there, with curves in the right places, now she just looks skinny and gaunt, with blonde hair and black eyebrows. I found the vampires attacking Seattle scenes, just like any other BAD vampire movie. really unconvincing. The other 2 films were so seamless, ok some of the lines and acting slightly cheesy, but still not bad for low budget movies. By the time Eclipse came along, they knew that Twilight was something huge. David Slade probably had the biggest budget of all the directors so far, and clearly spent most of it on his many, many close up shots of various couples snogging! There was sooooo much kissing it was actually making me feel a bit ill. Anyway, the highlight of the film for me was Bella and Jacob's talk at the end. It was so touching and moving. Taylor Lautner was the best thing about that movie. And I'm team Edward! I'm sorry to all you who liked Eclipse, but after all these are my personal views. Feel free to agree or disagree.

Look I have watched eclipse and now I want to see how breaking dawn is going to turn out... I have read all four books and I think Breaking dawn was the best of them all... I hope it comes out soon and I hope she writes the rest of Midnight sun because that is going to be a great book as well...

I can tell you that I was happy that Baton Rouge will have Breaking Dawn being made there. It is a great place to make a movie. I hope that I can get to see the set since I live an hour away from Baton Rouge. Maybe I'll finally get to meet Taylor.

About filming in Louisiana....please come see our town, Jena. It is a cute town and it is surrounded by creeks, rivers, and Catahoula Lake. The citizens as well as our mayor takes pride in our town because all the merchants participate in keeping their storefronts painted with awnings on them. If you scout it out, I think you would be happy with it's location for the filming of Breaking Dawn. Please come see us. Thanks!!!!
