The Twilight Saga

Speaking in my own personal opinion, Breaking Dawn was an, um, interesting way to end the series. Let's leave it that. The big talk among Twilight movie lovers is will it ever hit the big screen? There are several complicated things to consider: A) Renesmee, the cause of the whole debacle in the end B) Will adding in the honeymoon cause too much controversy? And how much do they put in? Remember, Stephenie did not write anything explicit in the book. C) The special effects at the Cullen v. Volturi gathering. The earth moves, Bella's shield, Alec's creeping numbing sensation; and lastly the gory pregnancy, which I admit sort of made me cringe. So I ask will this climatic book become a movie? When do you think it will be announced? Do you agree with possibly splitting the book into two parts?

My views, it will be announced after the New Moon DVD release, or possibly after premiere of Eclipse, if, indeed it does happen. Renesmee will be tricky but they will probably hire seperate actors. I think splitting it into two parts is the only way, but will that bring in as much money as the single films, I'm not sure. We shall see...

Tell me what you think!

I am as well. Here's to hoping. I already have a date to take my niece. And, plan on supporting all the twilight sagas. Just hoping that it can be put to film and find it as inspiring and awesome to see the relationship of Edward and Bella continue onward.

I am scared of being disapppointed as well, but it will probably happen as it does with any movie. I did like how Twilight seemed much more of the indie/cult movie it was supposed to be than the world's most popular movie franchise it turned out to be, but it's not like I'm complaining, I am happy it did so well.

whatever ever they do, and I'm glad I'm not 'them'. Better not disappoint. I've read the book (more than once). And, would hate to be disappointed. And, I enjoyed the direction of Twilight better than new moon. However, I am more into the Edward Bella story rather than the Jacob Bella story, so I'm a little biased.

My ideas about thwere they will cut the book is when Renesmee is born, I don't think they will spend very much time in Jacob's point of view as in the book, simply because it is hard to show a switch of narration in a movie, but hey these are just my ideas...

For what I meant by B is adding too much will have it as an "R" rated movie, which I'm sure they would rather not have. It will be tastefully done I am sure.

It has been decided that Breaking dawn will be done in two parts. I would like to think that they will get the whole book in between two movies but every director uses poetic licensing (ie Twilight) when they do a movie. I think the honeymoon part is vital but not over stated. very tasetfull. As far as the pregnancy thing, speaking from experiance it is "yucky" and a c-section sucks! Maybe that will halp the younger fans think twice about being "with" someone. Lots of things can go very wrong very quickly.
Any who, Breaking dawn was a great book. What's better is finding all the things you missed in the first read when you read it again!!! If you haven't re-read the books please do! Also download the midnight sun pdf if you haven't already. It's great to get Edwards' point of view. It does stop a few days before they get to the meadow

I thought this was a great book. The movie may have to be rated differently, for full effect, in my opinion. You can't sell it short. I think 2 movies. 1 on honeymoon - sex, pregnancy, the wolves, etc..has to be some action, renesmee and the tranformation of Bella and meeting/fitting in her new form to her parents. "fitting in". The next movie that fight with the volturi and the continuation of jacob and Renesme. That's my thought.
