He took my face in his hands to cradle it. Before i could assure him i was better; he interrupted with a kiss.
He pulled away as soon as i started gasping for air. I looked at his tear stoke cheek and he smiled at me.
We were alone with our baby. My family left us, so we could have our moment.
"Ness. im.. so happy. I can explain this.." He pointed to his eyes that had more tears coming from them.
I smiled; he was being rediculious now. "No, there is no reason for you to explain anything." I told him.
I must have been dreaming, i thought. This was incredible.
"Jacob Black, Never in my entire life, have i felt as happy as i do now. Never." I repeated. I wiped the happy tears away from his face and looked back down at our son; who was nestled on my chest sleeping. It was impossible to NOT smile at this.
My new life.
"Wow," Jake repeated again and again. I knew what he meant. "Our little monster." He wispered in my ear. I smiled and smacked his head playfully. This time; i started crying. Happiness averted all over me. While Jake and I were still blissed out; Carlisle was cleaning up from MY time. I wasn't stressed grandpa delivered my baby. I was happy he helped me. He walked over to me to check on things.
"Granpa thank you so, so much" I said and gave him a one arm hug aroung his neck. He responded by patting my back.
"Absolutely Ness, I'm so happy for you; you have NO idea" He laughed and backed away. I joined his laughing and glanced down at my beautiful, baby boy. He was still sleeping on my chest.
I noticed how exuasted I was after a moment. I sighed and put my head on Jakes arm.
Alice had gotten around to dressing me in an unfimiliar white dress that stopped right above my knees. I handend my baby to Jake, willingly.
I felt like walking so Jake and I slooped downstairs after Alice dressed me. I felt better. I ignored my thirst and tiredness to spend time with my family.
Once we hit the last step; Jake still holding our baby, everyones eyes shot up as if they hadn't heard us coming.
My dad smiled and came up to me.
"Renesmee are you feeling well?" He asked me; concerned on his face.
I nodded. "I've never felt better dad" He smiled and hugged me. I kissed his cheeks and turned to my mother; she was examaning the angel faced baby in Jacobs arms.
I was impossibly happy.
